    kids bike

    i bought a bike for my daughters birthday 4/6 weeks prior to her birthday when i went to build the bike the saddle was missing. i explained that i couldn't find my order number and it was my own mistake and was willing to buy the saddle as i had to proof of purchase but i couldn't get a direct answer from anyone very unhelpful.

    If I could score this a 0 then I would! Attended the Halfords store in Wakefield for 2 new bikes for my children costing over £1000 had horrendous customer service. Electric bike at the front of the store for £850 sold to me by the store assistant only to be told at the till that it was discontinued. Why was it still out on display? Told to pay £1100 for the newer version. Then walked away and found another member of staff who said that the specific electric bike had nothing but problems. Chose a new bike, sales assistant said she was too busy to talk to us, we waited for 20 minutes, she still didn't return. Walked out of the store without a bike and Halfords lost a sale of over £1000. Will not be visiting again!

    From high hopes to Halfords horrors

    Halfords Case Reference: 26432714 I am extremely disappointed with the service I’ve received from Halfords. I used a Halfords gift card—given to me by a friend—to book an MOT. The appointment was cancelled, and I was told the refund would be issued back to the same gift card. It's now been three days, and I’m still chasing the refund. Despite multiple follow-ups, I have received no resolution. Customer service staff keep saying they can only raise a ticket with the billing team. Even the customer service manager, who promised it would be resolved after three painful days, has failed to follow through. No one bothers to call back. It feels like no one at Halfords cares. This delay is unacceptable. I need that gift card balance to rebook my MOT, which is now overdue. Your system and processes are clearly broken, and this experience has caused me unnecessary stress and wasted time. I will never use Halfords again. Truly awful service. Sad Im even giving a star This is my call history with the inexperienced customer care at Halfords: 4 working days and 6 days - problem still remains unresolved while I approach my MOT deadline Halfords Case Reference: 26432714 20th June (Friday): Customer care advisor: Chantel - Confirmed 24 hour problem to be solved. Confirmed refund to be reflected in original halfords gift card or a new halfords gift card to be issues. Stated problem to be solved latest by Monday 21st June (Saturday): Spoke to someone cant remember. 23rd June (Monday) Customer care advisor: Siyanda. Confirmed 24 hours problem to be solved. 24th June (Tuesday): Customer Care advisor: Zayaan Zayaan escalated the issue through her manager and promised that I would receive a call by the end of the day. Nobody called 25th June (Wednesday): Customer Care: Olly Manager: Zahraa I have been promised I would receive a call back after the meeting. Meeting would last 1-2 hours in her opinion but I would receive a call by the end of the day. Still awaiting a solution/call back.

    SHOULD HAVE GONE SOMEWERE RELIABLE

    I Needed some disc and pads for my vw gold so because it was a Sunday and my ONLY day off and halfords on preston docks would be open I decided to purchase them from there so I could replace them myself.....however at time of purchase I was not informed about them not having them on the shelf and that I would have to wait until 16:00 that would be when the delivery would arrive ....to say the least i was extremely dissapointed that i wasnt imformed of this so I returned at 16:15 least to say i wasted 2 hrs of my time waiting around to collect my order..I was told they havnt come and it would be Monday morning no apology at all was given extremely disappointed again...however I came to fit the brake pads .....and you would never believe it .......yep there the wrong ones ..after I'd given my redg number make and model of vehicle and there still wrong to say I'm not happy is an understatement very disappointed from start to finish with the service I was given at the store.....so now I'll have to take another day of work to go to halfords get my money back and go elsewhere for the correct parts that I need...and yes I won't be using halfords ever again neither will my friends and family for that matter ....awful customer service and just to add ......rear discs are the wrong size too ...awful awful 😖
