We got a bunch of meat meals even though our preferences state vegetarian. Meals are constantly missing sauces and other ingredients. In general, quality control needs to be better validated. We will be continuing to order but, if frequent issues arise, this will be a reason to turn to another service.

Not bad it has good portions

overall positive experience. Ingredients are fresh, instructions clear. When choosing fish/shrimp, most is farmed raised so be a bit careful when selecting.

On a number of occasions, I have not had the correct items to make the dinner that’s on the menu. Occasionally things have been added and sometimes necessary. Things are not there. Love the recipes it’s all of your spices, etc., that you add that make the meals really taste fabulous. The recipes are easy to read. I like the pictures the directions are quite clear and easy to follow.

Meals are delicious and fairly easy. We love the GF options but get tired of rice. Should be easy to sub gf pasta or corn tortillas but they don’t offer that. We love that the veggies are organic.

I like the options but the steak dishes are meh. Overall I like the packaging, the seasoning and the dietary choices.

Prices are way too high & not enough options for low carb or keto needs.

Delivery was not until after 11pm and was left near the gate at my apartment complex. Luckily I was up and saw the text, so I went out and got it. The pineapples were dark brown and unusable, and the zuchinni was rotting. The first delivery was delayed by an entire day. This is my second delivery - the first one arrived a day late and had chard that was liquidating in the bag. Not impressed so far. If next delivery has issues, I will stop the service.

I was looking for gluten free options and found some, but there were additional charges that were not clearly disclosed at the time of order. Also, they took it upon themselves to add 4 more meals (for 2 people, so 8 servings) that I didn't pick and they were not gluten free. I only figured out about the additional charges when I saw it on my pending charges at the bank, and then I found the meals I didn't order when I checked on the charges and that was the last straw. I called to cancel the order and subscription entirely and they told me I needed to have canceled 5 days before delivery to get a refund (it was now 4.5 days before delivery), but I could change the menu. I was pretty mad at that point. it was an ADDITIONAL undisclosed $67 for 2 meals for 2 people. That's $16.75 per serving to have gluten free meals. So if I wanted to upgrade the 8 servings to gluten free that would've been an extra $134, in addition to the $71 for the meals. No. No. NO. I told the representitive that if they could change the menu at 4.5 days out then they could cancel and give me a refund. She argued and I told her I'd dispute it at the bank, so she told me I was canceled and I asked about the refund and she said I didn't need one because I was going to dispute the charges! Eventually she got a manager who was able to get me a refund.

Ingredient quality is laughably bad. Most of what I get has clearly been frozen, even though freezing zucchini’s and bell peppers ruins them and makes them mushy. Last week I got a completely rotten zucchini. LOL. can’t believe someone packing my box thought that was ok to pack. It’s crazy they call themselves green chef. They use plastic like they just don’t care. I’ll get two tiny garlic cloves in a GALLON size plastic bag. Like…what?? What a waste.
