The whole process from ordering the vehicle online, to pick-up, travelling, then returning the vehicle, was a smooth experience. Great service at Auckland Airport branch, with after hours customer service being very helpful, and friendly. The vehicle was beautiful to drive and super economical. I will only use GO Rentals in future.

Made a reservation a few weeks beforehand online, flying from Wellington to Queenstown. Magda from Christchurch (I think) followed up with a phone call and locked it in. Told me to download their app which I'm glad I did because it made the pick up process so quick and easy. No hidden costs - true to their word that choosing zero excess means paying no bond - I choose them based on the reviews on this site Trust Pilot - by the looks of things there are so many dodgy rental companies. My daughter gets a discount with Omega through her work but read the reviews, not good - thank goodness for Trust Pilot. Arrived in Queenstown at 11am - pick up was for 12.30 - the 2 boys at the Queenstown branch were awesome, let me take a car early at no extra cost. Ended up with a bigger car and a later model. Drop off was still set for 12.30 (with an hours grace) Cost - ease of booking and customer service - top marks. Just adding if you go to Queenstown they have CCTV cameras which issues tickets - yes I did stop on broken yellow lines to drop off people - on there for a few seconds and got x2 $100 fines. Outrageous fines but hey - don't stop where you shouldn't lol - don't stop on a bus stop or any where you shouldn't. Car company adds $60 per ticket which is fair enough - Go rentals only charged $60 for both fines and let me off $60 - Much appreciated. I live in Wellington City - everyone knows not to merge in to bus lanes too early if turning off that lane or you get a $150 fine via CCTV cameras - heads up to Go Rentals if they tell customers about the CCTV cameras and how they issues fines - googled and Queenstown make nearly a million a year charging people via CCTV cameras - the same for Tauranga

Started off ok & good staff at Waiheke but then an extra charge of $50+ dollars with no invoice to back it up comes through om my card & vague answers from them....no refund forth coming... Never again.

This is the one to go with. Great car at a very competitive rate (Toyota Yaris X Hybrid), great service at pick up - fast : drop off OK. Close enough to the airport.

Do not use Go Rental NZ or Holiday Cars. We arrived at Auckland Airport and called for the pick up service. They did not answer for over an hour. When we got an Uber to the depot, they refused access to a car despite us having a confirmed booking. We had to get an Uber to our accommodation, with a toddler, and come back in the morning. They did not compensate us for the Uber ride or refund the first day car hire. They refused to take responsibility and have been reported to the Consumer Commission NZ.

Helpfull and friendly team Nice car

We had the best little hybrid car, perfect for the mountains in NZ. It was in perfect condition, extremely clean and it looked brand new eventhough it had done a lot of kilometers. We loved everything about go rentals, excellent service and friendly staff. 10/10! ⭐️
