Review summary
rentals cars uk has mixed reviews from customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.
My car was in for it's annual MOT, The staff was excellent i drove the vehicle to the garage and one of the staff drove me home and on completion of the MOT was informed and picked up what more could you ask for. The garage was Motor Works South Molton
.com or .co.uk it doesn't really matter does it? Google continues to ply their crap. Giving me results for pkr or rupees or hindi despite me being in the uk? Additionally search function operates like stevie wonder in a dark room with the lights turned off. Does google even care about these reviews? Hell no. I've made countless requests and they ignore everything. So happy that chatgpt, copilot and other ai are starting to make an impact. Google got too big for it's boots, hopefully they crumble.
Google business support is non existent. They removed a one star review from my business profile that had been written by a competitor as asked and confirmed it violated google policy. A year later they reinstated it and when I questioned it they said they couldn’t remove it as it didn’t violate google policy!! Couldn’t make it up. They don’t read emails, sent generic replies when they feel like responding or don’t bother answering at all. Considering the size of the company they should be ashamed of their terrible business support.
Don't be fooled - the promised trade-in value on you old phone against a pixel 9 (and all other pixels I'm sure) won't be honoured.
How do I know 2 near flawless, perfectly operational phones trade in against 2 pixel 9 pros.
Total value promised circa £700.
Total value assigned by Google £0
Both returned without explanation as to why the value was zero pounds and zero pence
Have a search on, Google actually, and you'll fundy experience is universal
I decided to pay for an upgrade to my mobile phone anti virus. The only method that was available was to pay through Google. I had to add my credit card which I was not given the option to not have it stored. When I paid the payment went through to my credit card account where I was asked to authorise it in the app. Did this and was returned to the payment site where the payment screen added the same payment screens on top of each other. There was no acknowledgement that the payment had been successful. Checked my credit card app and no money had been taken. Tried again to pay a few times but it didn't work after reputting in my credit card details. Decided to remove my card from Google pay which it didn't allow me to do. Tried to sort it out using their help and support but this just used computer generated replies suggesting documents to read, the options it gave did not match the problems I had and in the end it just took me full circle back to the beginning. There was no option to email, what's app, chat, telephone or get a human to help.
So next day I email the ceo of Google in California Sundar Pichai telling him about the problem and that I wanted to delete my card from his database, several hours last I tried again to delete my card from the database and it worked first time without any trouble although I didn't receive any return email.
First of all Google, get your act together, your customers will start to resent you and this will backfire on your business. Employ customer relations staff to sort out problems. Allow customers to make payments without having their cards saved and allow customers to delete their cards without having to jump through loads of hoops. I detest Google especially after buying one of their chrome books which they refused to update after a couple of years and after they did a u-turn I still haven't been able to update it without going through a long lengthy and complicated process.
I purchased a leather B3 Bomber jackets from SIOOLTD costing around £120:00 it was supposed to have been leather with sheepskin fur lining and a hood edged with Raccoon fur, it came but was nothing like the description or pictures it was some sort of material with a knitted fake fur lining the Raccoon fur was fake fur not a leather sheepskin,Raccoon fur you wouldn't want to be seen dead in it absolutely disgusting total frauds !! I have asked for my money back but to date no replies?
Claymore tree services removed an enormous stump close to the rear of our house, grinding out the main stump and removing the roots radiating in all directions.
Service was quick, efficient, clean, and great value.
Highly recommended
Having just stayed in north Yorkshire for a short break a fantastic time was had at little nest cottage which was found through sykes cottages, the place was clean and tidy and very cosy, so thoughtfully prepared as well and they even allowed our 3 dogs 🐕 who really enjoyed exploring all that beautiful countryside we had a brilliant time thank you 😊

Opodo: A Fraudulent Company—Avoid at All Costs!
They use your account information for fraudulent purposes.
It’s incredibly disappointing to see a British company like Opodo allegedly engaging in such fraudulent practices.
In September, I bought a flight ticket through their website, and a month later, they began charging me $110 for an Opodo Prime annual membership—without my consent!
When I called their customer service to ask for a refund, they refused. Instead, tried to convince me that the Prime membership was somehow "worth it," despite the fact that I had never agreed to it !!!!
They continue to take fees without any clear notification or permission!
After a fruitless conversation with that Egyptian man, I attempted to email their customer service, but every email bounced back, seems they blocked my IP, making it impossible to reach them!
Opodo is a scam—avoid them if you don’t want to be ripped off!
I’ve just had solar panels installed on my roof by Madola, I can’t fault them one bit.
The two guys who worked on my house were friendly, polite and professional.
They arrived on time and respected my property at all times, leaving it clean and tidy.
They explained to us what was required.
If you’re considering having solar panels these are the guys to turn too.
