As a pastor, I speak in front of large groups for a living. For almost 30 years working in youth ministry I never had an issue being up front. Two years ago my role changed and I started speaking in the main worship service every Sunday. If I had a podium, music stand, or small table in front of or next to me, no problem. But if I was just up on stage without a "prop," my leg would start shaking. I never "felt" nervous or anxious, but obviously something was going on. I cut out caffeine, watched my sugar intake, rehearsed what I was going to be saying--but the shaking only got worse. It was awful. I was ready to step down. First time flyer with extreme anxiety. To provide some context: years ago, my family went on vacation to San Antonio. We wanted to explore Natural Bridge Caverns. Due to my anxiety and claustrophobia, I was not able to enter the caverns. My now ex took on the great responsibility of taking the kids. Additionally, with my fear of water and bridges, I was convinced I would never fly. Fast forward to 2025: I had a work trip with my company to Vegas, and there was no option not to go. It was pretty quick and easy. I want to say I am so happy that I made the decision to use kick for my anxiety issues I was having. I have had mayor change to control all my physical symptoms are gone. Definitely recommend for people who are anxious when having an interview or has some social anxiety from sweating or shaking.

Very user friendly

I had tried everything- meditation, breathing, and even bananas. But nothing was able to curb my performance anxiety: the shaking, freezing hands and pit in my stomach. As a piano player, my performances are crucial in showing the effort I have been putting in all semester, and if I can't physically perform, how can I show that? I had become extremely discouraged and thought there was nothing I could do about it. But after I found Kick Health, everything changed.
