This is the second time we have used Gair and on both occasions they have been very helpful from initial visits through to completion of our projects. The work to redesign and replace the bathroom was carried out with great care and thoroughness and we are well pleased with the result. One very minor problem was dealt with expeditiously.

Boiler service was due and I received a letter asking me to telephone the office to make and appointment which I did. I was able to make the appointment at a mutually convenient time with plenty of choice. I was messaged the morning of the service to say the Engineer was on his way. Service carried out in a timely fashion and my kitchen was left as it was found. The whole process worked as it should! I have only recently moved over to Gair Gas and have found them to be as I would want, helpful, efficient, courteous and no hold music - hurrah!! I try to support local businesses and it is really paying off with Gair Gas. Thank you Gair Gas you have made one aspect of my my life much easier.

Brilliant service from Gair Gas and Vaillant. Gair Gas arrived to do my annual boiler service on Monday, during which the engineer noticed a fault. He contacted Vaillant and on Wednesday their engineer arrived. Within and hour he had dismantled the boiler, replaced the faulty parts and checked that the system was operating correctly. Both engineers were competent and pleasant. Thank you.

The appointment was made by a polite and helpful person from the office who answered the phone promptly without the long wait you expect from too many companies. I was given clear information about time including a phone update immediately before arrival. The technicians were helpful and informative.

We have used this company for several years now and would have no hesitation in recommending them. They have always provided a first class service and every engineer we have been sent has been friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Gair Gas upgraded our central heating system ... the only problem was that after their work, the hot water wasn't coming on. Having advised them of this late on Friday, we had a visit early on Saturday and the problem was speedily rectified. The engineer was clearly very knowledgeable and had no difficulty putting the problem right.

Gairgas is very reliable and efficient. Reasonable quotes for all repairs as well.

We had what we thought was a minor leak from our boiler which was causing the cupboard base to get damp. We contacted Gair Gas to arrange a visit - organised for the same day. A few hours later we noticed a rather large wet spot appearing on our lounge wall and rang them back to suggest it might not be a minor leak after all. An engineer turned up quickly and confirmed that we had a major leak in our hot water pipe but that it was behind fitted kitchen cupboards. They fixed it without any fuss or drama. Just what you expect from a very reliable company.

Appointment booked for a convenient time. The maintenance for the boiler was carried out by Alex, who was efficient and courteous, and he showed us that the filter was in good condition when he cleaned it.

Gair Gas employs competent plumbers and engineers and does not rely on call centres: real people answer the telephone!

I have reviewed Gair before and after their most recent visit continue to be impressed with their service. I had non urgent electrical fault a was offered an appointment less than 48 hours after reporting it. I explained that I had my granddaughter visiting and would want to go to the park after lunch. So a 1-6pm was too big a window for me. They immediately said they’d book me first appointment after lunch and Zac arrived around 12.30. Perfect! And he fixed the problem in no time. I really felt as if the company were considering me not just as a customer but as a person with family commitments. I should add that the electrician was an especially likeable and knowledgeable professional.

Many company has rejected fixing underground floor heat, Gair just accepted my job and got the problem rectified. The staff was friendly, after fixing the issue, carefully checked every sensor to make sure it works before he leave. He even helped to call to Honeywell service centre to help me rectify the sensor sync issue and resolved the warning in the central monitor. The only bad thing is it takes more than a month in advance for me to book the service. Such good service should be scaled much larger :) More than happy to recommend to everyone!
