Scheduled an annual boiler and hot water cylinder service. Gair emailed a reminder the day before and engineer texted ahead of arrival. Engineer was friendly, helpful and considerate and service completed satisfactorily.

Very happy with their service. The 2 young men who replaced our pressurised cylinder where very polite, knowledgeable and tidy. Would highly recommend.

Turns out the immersion heater tripped the electrics. Engineer arrived very quickly and isolated the heater giving very practical and sensible advice. Engineer called me (mum's carer) ahead as requested to give an ETA.

Have used Gair for several years and have found the engineers are always friendly helpful and knowledgeable

First rate service. I rang Gair Gas about a leaky radiator this morning, got a call-back and an engineer mid- afternoon. Leaky radiator resolved. No charge all part of the HomeServe maintenance contract.

Had to wait a week to get heating repaired. We have had a service agreement for a few years and they have always been prompt with the service. Always polite engineers.

The engineer turned up promptly, and as we had only just moved in, he explained how the boiler worked. Very efficient, helpfull and clean job

Brilliant as always. Wouldn’t use anyone else since they noticed my boiler was actually still under warranty a few years back and contacted the manufacturer on my behalf! Friendly and honest service. I’d recommend any day.

Excellent service. Problem with fridge/freezer not working. Called and was pleased to be told Electrician would come within an hour which he did. All now working. What a service.

Alex came as promised to check under sink drip, and kitchen tap dripping, repaired underneath drip,same day ordered new 3way tap for sink and came to replace it 2weeks later, it was more expensive than I would have liked but good job done,

Fantastic service today from Gair Gas. They serviced my boiler a couple of weeks ago and noticed that a bracket had broken. They returned to replace it today, no charge. I highly recommend this wonderful company.

**Extremely Disappointing Experience with Gair Gas HomeShield Plan** I can't express my profound disappointment strongly enough after my recent encounter with Gair Gas and their HomeShield Boiler plan. This company's lack of professionalism and utter disregard for customer satisfaction has left me absolutely appalled. Despite my compliance with every request, Gair Gas denied me access to their HomeShield coverage. This decision came without conducting the property inspection, which, by the way, they originally insisted on as a prerequisite for the HomeShield plan. Additionally, as per their request I also provided a Gas Safety Check certificate that was both up to date and not older than three months. Upon receiving these documents, they inexplicably, and seemingly without any logical basis, denied me access to their HomeShield coverage, despite me having a brand new boiler installed only 1 week ago! Their excuse? They claimed they couldn't meet my "high expectations." But in reality, my expectations were quite reasonable – simply a reliable home protection plan with no demands on any discounts or waivers. When I sought clarification, their response was nothing short of infuriating. They hid behind vague policies, offering no real explanation for their refusal. It's abundantly clear that their customer service is subpar, and their communication is a train wreck. Let my experience serve as a caution to anyone considering Gair Gas for their services. If this is how they treat prospective customers, I can't even begin to imagine what their service would be like once they have your money. Do not waste your time or money on Gair Gas. Their customer service is abysmal. Take your business elsewhere if you value professionalism, transparency, and respect.
