With family abroad and many friends unable to attend in person, we were keen to have a livestream of the event and also a permanent record. John was sensitive to the occasion and provided a professional service with an excellent end result.
Review: We used this company to live stream a family funeral for relatives overseas who were unable to attend in person. Unfortunately, despite purchasing two streams to ensure everyone could participate, one of the streams failed to work. We followed all the instructions provided and even used two separate hotspots to avoid bandwidth issues, but the second stream displayed an error message and did not go live. When we contacted the company afterwards to explain the situation and request a refund for the second stream that didn’t work, our request was refused. They explained that the issue was likely due to internet connectivity, which they considered beyond their control. However, the instructions did not clearly indicate that we needed to manually adjust the resolution or bitrate when using multiple streams on a hotspot, which contributed to the problem. They offered to upload any recordings made during the attempt to stream, but unfortunately, we were unable to provide any recordings as the error message indicated that the second stream was not working at all. This was incredibly disappointing, especially given the significance of the event. While the company was responsive after the event, clearer guidance and real-time support during the stream could have helped avoid this issue. A refund for the failed stream would have been a more appropriate resolution given the emotional circumstances.

I am very impressed with the quality of the recording, especially as I had watched the live stream of a funeral in Canada shortly before my sister's funeral - John's was far more professional, with a clearer, sharper image. His TV experience was evident. Thank you John.

Higher Ground Meadow in Dorset suggested John Gurd of Funeralstreamingservices wouls film and stream my late wife's celebration of her life. From the first phone call contact John was excellent, clear and arranged to meet me on site well beforehand. I decided to have two cameras. On the day he was there early to set up and we agreed the best camera position. The end result has been much appreciated by family and friends.

I have had nothing but very positive responses from people who watched the service online: very good sound quality and images. The presence of the camera man in the church was totally unobtrusive and having watched the video later I was surprised about the high quality close-ups of the speakers. A lovely touch was the shots of the outside of the church as introduction.

Many thanks John for a very professional service. The picture and sound quality were excellent (particularly given the rainy and windy outdoor conditions) as was the camera work during the event. A reliable live stream that we've had positive feedback from the guests who couldn't be there. Thank you too for providing a copy of the video for download afterwards. I would certainly recommend.

We booked John on recommendation of the funeral directors. His response to us was very swift. We had concerns over 4g coverage in the area and John drove across the county on a busy Bank Holiday to check the upload speeds. He kept in regular contact and the streaming service in the church was very non intrusive but the view and sound was brilliant. We had the service streamed live to Australia, USA, Holland and UK... and feedback from each country was very positive. We have a copy downloaded for posterity. I would definitely recommend John.
