Freethought Internet Reviews

For small business owners, especially new ones like me, work never stops. Trying to setup a new website and email late at night, I ran into some difficulties. Logged a case and got a swift response from Dmitriy helping resolve the issue quickly. It was well AFTER MIDNIGHT! Not only the quality response, but the amazing instant late night response meant I could complete what I needed to do, and not wait a few more days before I got time again to look at things. Hugely impressed with amazing service. Huge THANKS Dmitriy & Freethought.

I have used freethought for several years for our hosting company. They have helped resolve several issues promptly and offer a high level of support as well as providing in-depth knowledge. They just recently restored a backup for me during the weekend due to a malware attack and cannot fault their assistance in this matter. Would certainly not hesitate to use their services in the future & would recommend them fully.

I have been using Freethought Internet for website and domain name hosting for at least 10 years. I am not their best customer by a long shot, but that never seems to matter; the service is always excellent. I have some tech knowledge, but I have also made some really dumb mistakes from which the guys and girls at Freethought have efficiently and patiently rescued me. And even when I flag a regular query as 'low priority', it is usually answered within an hour, if not minutes. For price, professionalism and personal service, it would be hard to beat this company.

Always exceptional customer support. Always have the answers and are happy to help. Superb hosting too, never let me down. 100% best company for hosting.

Amazing Service from start to finish, reception to tech support everybody went the extra mile to get us up and running in no time at all. 100% satisfied and definitely worth far more than the costs we are paying!

In setting up hosting I had a strange technical problem, which turned out to be caused by my modem. Technical support were excellent. They were prompt and helpful. I've found Freethought to be competitive in pricing and I like the ethical credentials.

Parent company for Jolt.co.uk (Host Lincoln Limited) Absolutely disgusting service. Took payment without my consent. Called my a liar and criminal. I would suggest to anyone to avoid these disgusting scammers.

Despite ringing to sort a payment issue out than cannot be resolved over email no one has phoned me back nearly 24hrs ago.

I have been with Freethought for many years, but they keep being amazing. Their tech service goes above and beyond, not just to solve the immediate problem (and these come from me, not them) but also tackling the wider issues to make sure I get it right in the future. Also, their hosting is rock-solid and their prices are extremely reasonable. I have zero fault to find. Twenty stars!!

Not only a great hosting service, but also a superb support desk. Can't recommend them highly enough. They solve all my issues quickly and thoroughly. They just make everything easy. I also like their ethical stance. It's why I chose them, and they they live up to their credo. I have never had a single problem with Freethought. They are good people.

I have minimal IT experience and knowledge and the help and support Freethought provided in transferring my domains to them was invaluable. In fact every time I contact Freethought I get a friendly helpful and professional response ( not a Bot ) and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending these lovely people - John

I have been a happy customer of Freethought since they took over from TDMWeb, and they repeatedly go above and beyond that which I would normally expect them to. They have rescued me from a self-imposed tricky situations, they've made transferring existing domains and websites a breeze. I would highly recommend anyone, complete novice or expert, to use Freethought.

Freethought were recommended to me as I needed a new host for my website. I was nervous as I know nothing about this side of IT, but they couldn't have been more helpful, patient and friendly. Took me through the whole process step-by-step and were much, much cheaper than my previous hosts. Would absolutely recommend!

I've used these guys for the past decade and they have never let me down, the level of service and support has always been excellent! Many thanks!

I have been a customer with Freethought ever since they took over from TDM, so perhaps 20 years! They are the best hosting company that I have had the good fortune to use and I have tried a few of the larger hosting companies. Their hosting service never seems to fail and the general impression is one of a very technically competent organisation with very little bureaucracy. When I have had to raise a support ticket, they have gone the extra mile to ensure my issue was resolved, albeit it would be of my own making! They are a friendly, adaptable and conscientious organisation who fly the gold standard for hosting services. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone who needs this type of service.

So grateful for the fast response and professional manner in which my mailbox issue was dealt with this morning. Also, the speed with which my upgrade was dealt with, in order to enable things to get running again. Thank you Freethought, you never fail to deliver. Very happy to recommend.

I have been hosting sites with Freethought Internet for many years and have experienced nothing but exceptional service. If ever I have a problem, which is very rare, they go far beyond the norm to help resolve it. With a recent issue, which it turned out was nothing to do with Freethought's servers, I received several detailed emails helping and advising me how to resolve the problem. In all outstanding service.

Switched over to this company and received and excellent service with regards to migrating and existing site from old host. Cannot fault the communication and prompt attention i received.

I, thankfully, stumbled across Freethought after my previous host merged with another company, and from my perspective that didn't go well. I was unable to access my domains and I stopped receiving emails. I emailed Freethought and explained my problem and what I was looking for, and got into a friendly email exchange with Edward who didn't try to sell me anything, was clear, knowledgeable, reassuring, patient and very helpful. Without hesitation I felt like Freethought is where my domains should be, and they did everything for me, including somehow extracting all my email forwarders and loading them at their end. I do, without hesitation, recommend Freethought. If / when I expand, I will not waste time shopping around: Freethought will have my business. (I do not work for them, know them personally, or have anything at all to gain from saying how great they've been for me.)

Fantastic price and even more fantastic service. They handled a complex migration for me smoothly and efficiently, and went above and beyond on a few issues. I liked their ethical stance to begin with, and ended up a total fan. Would give them more than five stars if i could.
