Worst experience

I bought ticket for my mother from Moldova to Turkey, only 2 hours flight. She wrapped luggage in plastic, once she arrived to hotel and unpack she noticed hole in the luggage, looks like it was burned through with something, maybe with cigarette, not sure, they burned plastic and luggage also. Since she notice it is already after leaving airport most probably it was too late to complain about. After one day of stay i received message to email, that her flight back is canceled and it was offered to change flight to the one 24hours later. She was travelling to Moldova from Ukraine by bus from Ukraine (around 16hours) and cause of flight change we need to find for her another transfer for another date and also extend hotel in Turkey for one extra day. On the way back she landed 30 min before transfer to Ukraine, once she picked up luggage handler was stuck and not extending. When she arrived to Ukraine and tried to repair it it was told it was pretty much damaged and price for it was almost the price for a new luggage. I will recommend to stay away from Freebird Arlines.

Wir sind 2024 & 2025 von Varna nach Leipzig geflogen und es war super. Deutschsprachiges Personal hatten wir auf beiden Flügen. Die Angestellten sind super freundlich, die Sitzplätze bequem. Essen und Trinken sind preislich total in Ordnung . .

This airline is awful

This airline is awful. Firstly if you need to eat or drink anything on the plane make sure you have cash ( no card service ) and be prepared to pay almost £4 for a small can of coke. Toilets stank. Crew were the rudest and most unfriendly staff I have ever encountered on a flight. Asked for a cup of water for my young son after being delayed, to be told we would need to pay and they were not serving anything yet. Eventually a number of people asked and they poured some half cups of water for some passengers, I later saw 2 of the crew drink water directly out of the bottles they used to serve the passengers. Definitely wouldn’t want to be on this airline in an emergency as crew couldn’t communicate properly in English despite our flight being into the U.K. Plane falling apart, armrest broken, condition dirty and customers having to use safety cards to fan themselves as air conditioners were not working properly. Would not recommend and will never fly again!

Well what a surprise..

Well what a surprise... After reading the reviews before my flight with freebird I was a little worried but I can honestly say it was a fantastic experience. Flight left on time each way, Nice leg room, Friendly staff..... Smooth flight... Went from Manchester to Antalya and had no issues at all, easy check in everything. Would defo use this airline again Thank you Freebird

If I could give it 0 starts I would

THE WORST AIRLINE EVER !!!!!! - to start with we was supposed to be flying at 9.40 but was then moved to 9.35 (obviously that was not an issue) - it came to 9 o’clock and we was queuing go board the plane, we was then told to go back to the gate with no further information - we was then told to wait till 10.15 for an update so we did, and then it was 10.30 and then 11 , 12 and eventually 1 o’clock - there was 2 free bird planes, one going to antalya (the one we was supposed to board) and one going to dalaman. The dalaman plane had a bird strike inbound meaning that because the passengers going to dalaman was going to cost the airline more money in compensation they sent them on the antalya plane. - we have been delayed for 4 hours with the flight now being cancelled and going ahead tomorrow I could not reccomended this airline less.

TUI freebird avoid at all cost please listen they are shocking

If there was a 0 it would be a zero to all people looking to go on holiday with TUI please be careful if you are going to turkey they contract the flights to freebird airlines which are terrible look at the reviews waited for 7 hrs for the Swiss port to tell us our flight was cancelled and will be going the next day, will never book with TUI again stick with jet 2!!! The above was the review I put 3 days ago but after our flight I would give them a 2 as the flight was fine and the stewardesses were very helpful I would put much of the blame on TUI as we got to our hotel a day late our rooms were not on the system you would have thought someone from TUI would have contacted the hotel but then again this is TUI we are talking about. Can’t see this travel company being around for too much longer

Wir sind mit Freebirds von Leipzig nach Antalya und auch wieder zurück geflogen. Ich kann mich ehrlich nicht beschweren. Vom Boarding bis zur Landung lief alles ohne Probleme. Die Stewardessen waren freundlich und zuvorkommend und haben alle immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen gehabt. Alle haben Deutsch gesprochen und waren sehr zuvorkommend. Der Flug war angenehm und ohne Probleme. Ich glaube manche Leute vergessen hier,das nicht immer das Flugzeug schuld an Verspätungen oder dergleichen ist,sondern dies durchaus am Flughafen oder an anderen Dingen liegen kann. Ich fliege gerne wieder mit Freebird.

Delayed flight by 6hrs Exeter to Antalya (flight contracted out to Freebird from TUI). No response as of yet from the company re compensation despite numerous WhatsApp messages and emails and no easy access to any claim form - note response from Emma below with similar issue - would appreciate some help as to where to find the claim form!!!

Der Flieger kam 5 Std zu spät aus…

Der Flieger kam 5 Std zu spät aus Antalya und dann wollten Sie noch dem BER die Schuld geben. Das ist so gelogen und eine Frechheit. Die möchten deshalb keine Entschädigung zahlen, obwohl wir gesehen haben, dass der Flieger erst 5 Stunden zu spät gelandet ist. Danach wollten die schnell boarden und haben uns 30 min auf der Brücke stehen und 45 min im Fliegen warten lassen. Nun kriegt es ein Anwalt, da so eine Unverschämtheit gar nicht geht.

Sehr empfehlenswert!

Sowohl der Hin- als auch der Rückflug war pünktlich und sehr angenehm was Start und Landung betrifft. Auch das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Maschine war etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber sauber und gepflegt. Auf das Hinzubuchen von Extra-Gepäck ist super unkompliziert und günstig. Wir würde immer wieder mit Freebird fliegen und können diese Airline empfehlen.
