Everyone was very professional, helpful and patient in explaining the process. It was a smooth process. The effect is great.

Professional from start to finish.. The initial discussion over what products, the installation and the follow up after service all deserve a mention. The 2 tradesmen Aaron and Alan didn't stop all day and deserve an extra mention for the standard of workmanship and doing a top job clearing up after themselves.

We were told by the person who we had asked to give a quote for external rendering and he suggested that change the windows as well as they were very old and best to do them before rendering. We searched online and settled on meeting the two most reputed brands in the market with FHI being one of them. Erno was the sales person who came to discuss the solution for us and spent a lot of time and explained the structure of the glass, security aspects of the windows etc. And after long negotiations we settled on a price. The other company had already quoted a slightly higher price and we liked the key features of the FHI windows a lot more, so we decided to place our order with them and paid the deposit. The other company then came back and undercut the price. While I was tempted, my wife was locked in on FHI due what seemed to be there superior locking mechanism. So, we decided to bite the bullet and stick to the higher cost FHI solution. Next week, we had Lee a very experienced surveyor come over to take the final measurements before they started manufacturing the bespoke windows. Some additional building work was also needed which was discussed and cost agreed... and it was reasonable. We had been told that it would take 6-8 weeks for the install to happen from order placement and we were pleasantly surprised when we called much earlier and they wanted schedule the building work and installation. Dates were agreed and it was a relaxed 4 day window (first 2 days for building work and the next two days for the wundow installed). We were quite apprehensive about the level of disruption we were going face given the work would happen. We lucked out as the weather got warmer and sunnier from the day work was to start. For the building work we had Dale and Joe show up and they were reassuring, friendly and had the air of confidence in them that instantly calmed me down. They finished the work in time and made good the incidental damages that happened. They took 1.5 days to finish their bit and cleaned up leaving the place as they found them. The next day Jack and Aron arrived early and on schedule for the installation. They were very experienced, unflappable and friendly giving reassurance and advice as necessary. The work got completed on time and they tidied up, took their payment and left...And we were left with a top quality set of double glazing windows and sliding doors that definitely have given our home an additional layer of warmth. We have had a very good experience from start to finish with this install and early thoughts we took the right decision and you cant go wrong with FHI. I had 7 windows fitted today by David twine and Richard Warner two of the nicest fitters I have used very professional knew exactly what they were doing.They were very respective of our property cleaned up behind themselves am absolutely over the moon with the finish of the windows excellent product quality and definitely value for money I would not hesitate to recommend them for anyone who needs new windows they have done an amazing job and the finish is above and beyond I cannot say it enough am thrilled to bits Mr Andrew dixon

Fitted nice, looks nice and done in a short time

The sales & survey guys were friendly and took their time to make sure we got what we wanted. The installation team (Josh & George) were very professional, kept every thing clean in the house and tidied up after the job was done. Their work quality was excellent with attention to detail.

Kevin Kelsey and John Donovan installed our 8 windows and 2 doors. They completed it in 2 days and we're very conscientious of keeping one room clean each day so I had somewhere warm to be. Fantastic experience. Would absolutely recommend and will return if we ever need any others doing.

We had our windows replaced in March 2025. Our replacement windows are lovely and good quality. Our installers, Liam and Dan are both very knowledgeable and left our property clean and tidy. We would definitely recommend First Home Improvements,

We purchased from First Home Improvements as we were really impressed with the quality of the products. We were allocated Tristan and Alison to be our installers. They arrived on the pre booked date and in good time. We received a call before their arrival letting us know where they were in their journey which was good to know. Lovely friendly couple and very good at their job. The finish is superb and that’s down to Alison. They both take a pride in their work. They worked flat out and left us with well installed windows and front door. Happy to recommend a job well done with an excellent product.

Basil helped us feel relaxed and he is very knowledgable. Basil is very informative and he looks at everything from all aspects whether it’s personal circumstances, benefits it brings short term and long term. He did not make us feel forced and we were very pleased with the options and overall outcome.

Couldn't be happier with the service I received and the new windows look fantastic. Not only that they hold the heat in really well and keep the sound from outside out.

Both doors and windows were replaced quickly and efficiently by first rate craftsmen. A pleasure to work with you all.

Very nice fitters and worked hard to fit the windows and doors to a great finish. Only had one problem which was a glass window that broke in the van that was reported as broken and reordered, but took three weeks to replace. Overall we are very satisfied with the job and infact have just ordered another door to be installed.
