I would not even give 1 star to this company. I purchased a round-trip ticket Amsterdam- Savannah, USA for my daugther that cost $1659.19. I even paid the extra money for insurance that was supposed to allow me to make changes to the trip dates. The airline that appeared on the e-tickets was Virgin Atlantic (VA), but when I called VA to confirm departure and add a check-in suitcase, they said it was not with them, and that I had to call Delta which was the operating airline. Delta did not even appear on the e-ticket. Why should they assume that we, the customers, know that there is a business agreement between VA and Delta? Why wasn't Delta written on the e-ticket if that was the airline that would take us to the USA? Then, there was a family inconvenience, and my daughter's stay had to be extended. I called VA, and they did not allow the change unless eSky authorized it. I called eSky, and they said they could not do that because VA's policy didn't allow those changes. They were just throwing the ball at each other and the supposed to be travel insurance apparently did not apply for the type of ticket I bought. Money wasted? Of course. As a customer, I believe that we should have the right to make changes, and I clearly stated that I would not mind paying the extra fee, if necessary, but none, neither VA nor eSky allow us to do that regardless of the reason. In the past, I have never had problems changing travel dates, and have even been reimbursed for the fare difference if the tickets cost less or have paid the extra fee if they have increased price. 1st and last time I buy a ticket from this company. Too many people involved for just one ticket: eSky, Virgin Atlantic, and Delta. Awful, awful, awful experience.
