We hide A Renault small SUV for four days in it done approximately 4000 K, so was in good condition. The only annoying factor was a rattle in the drivers door. The service at the counter was good and fast as was the shuttle to the airport The right was okay cheaper than most but like everything these days too expensive. The only other negative comment that I would make is that their shuttle service only goes between their base and the airport. They don’t pick up or drop off at hotels. I know a lot of higher car companies only do that these days but Some will do the hotel pick up and return.

Best rental company in Melbourne
I have been using ECCR every time I travel to Melbourne. The experience was always great on the previous occasions and this time was no exception. Staff were friendly and quick and we got our two cars within 20 minutes. As we chose zero liability the staff did not even go through the cars with us and told us to just drive off. Returning was a breeze also. Just handed the keys to a guy after we parked and all good.

East Coast Cars is a great service and I'll use them again.
I've never used East Coast Cars before and so it was a gamble. I couldn't have been happier. From the pick up at the aiport to collection of the car, and then drop off and lift back 6 days later, I couldn't rate it highly enough. We ended up with what I think is a better car than I had booked (Mitsubishi ASX instead of a MG ZS). The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient, with clear communication on how to find the pick up point at the airport and also the drop off procedure. It was a great price for a great service and I will definitely use them again.

Affordable car hire for 5 days…
Affordable car hire for 5 days comparable to everyone else that were almost double. Happy with the MG I had with all new fleet. Great customer service, transport to and from airport with ease. Appreciate the photos pre and post hire for records. Would absolutely be my go to next time I need car hire. Thank you

0$ Excess plan, the one I was looking for...
Although I travel interstate often I preferred not to rent cars simply because of too much excess. I always used ride share options. From Internet search I found out about this company and its 0$ excess plan. I had no hesitation in renting the car. Excellent experience. I highly recommend this stress free rent car company with 0$ excess plan.

Easy to deal with
Easy to deal with; I called them to enquire about a rental vehicle, usually I book through Vroom Vroom but dealing direct was much better. I booked over the phone, and received timely emails leading up to the day of collection. The shuttle service is very efficient and easy. I've used East Coast in Melbourne and Gold Coast...great service both locations. Will keep using.

Excellent Staff
I have used East Coast a couple of times now. Initially it was because they were cheap, but now I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Their cars are good and their service is simply excellent. They have regular bus shuttles to and from the terminals. On the Last trip I had challenges with some of my hiring paperwork and the staff on the desk dealt with me in a very human manner. I am very thankful - thank you to the East Coast team!
