I shopped online for quite a while. And finally made the decision to go in person. The SE Nashville location was awesome. I am a joker and they made me feel comfortable while being funny. They were very friendly and made the atmosphere a positive one. Tyler my salesman was not overwhelming. He was patient and very informative.

The price that I received online was far greater than the price I was given at the dealer. I thought they would go by my credit score but instead I felt like they were going by my income. THE BIGGEST ISSUE I HAVE IS THEY GIVE YOU 5days TO BRING IT BACK AND OF COURSE NOTHING HAPPENED WITHIN THAT TIME. A whole week later the vehicle started skipping and jerking. I called them to find out where I could go to use the other 30day warranty. I explained that I felt like I was being forced to pay for junk. The car was at the shop for about 2-3 weeks for them to do brakes and alignment stuff and to tell me the bottom of the vehicle had rust and the muffler needed to be replaced. The warranty paid for that and by the time I got the vehicle back that warranty had expired and of course I still have the same problem and now it’s shutting off. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone I have been so frustrated because now I’m stuck with a car payment on a lemon that I’ve got to get fixed to enjoy it. I HATE THIS PLACE
Drivetime hides the fact that they tack on 5 dollars a day,and on top of the loan. You end up paying double of what you bought the car for.im still paying on a2013 nissan that I have replaced alot of parts on,after I got the car home I noticed that the drivers side door handle has been super glued on.also was lied too by Manager told me to bring the car back. Because I didn't really want it. I wanted a truck told me to bring the car back in a year and they'd get me in a truck. I went back. They didn't want to trade that car back in. They didn't get me in a truck. They tried to get me for a couple $1000 more. And a paid off newer car. To put me in a truck. I would never, ever buy another car from drivetime. And i'm thinking about starting a law suit Against drivetime for their crap.
We bought a car Saturday the 12th. We drove it from Phoenix to Yuma and we noticed exterior is not straight and the wheels are not straight. We called the dealership dealership so rock their warranty company in Silver rock has denied to clean. The car needs a new valve cover gasket, which is leaking and they’re saying it’s seeping and they would only pay if it’s leaking. It’s a four-wheel-drive vehicle has four different tire design on it and try patterns according to the book for tire should be the same. One of the tire has a big old chunk taken out of it and again their warranty company says that’s not a failure every time you break the carpool seats so they told him to cut the rotors but not replace the brake I don’t understand what this adjuster is thinking upon doing more research to replace the four tires to do the valve cover gasket and replace the brake pads would be only an additional $1160. They told me to return the car but they don’t understand what cost them more than $1160 if I return the car because they don’t have another car that we want tried talking to drivetime who is the parent company of Silver rock and their customer service is horrible dealership is great but no one will meet me on a concession for this
I gave a 3 star review. The salesman that helped me and my son,Darron was great. But I bought a car that the gm was driving around so it could have used a good wash and the interior cleaned up a bit. There was no spare tire or jack which Darron got for me and put it away. The floor mats were gone which is a bummer. But Darron was a 5 star, but the car itself could have used some attention. I guess it is what it is with a used car.
I don’t suggest anybody to get a car from this place. I got a car at the end of February of this year and I’ve been having problems every since then
I went to the dealership to look at a car that I seen online and I left with the car Antonio made my car buying experience very easy
I came in and was greeted and welcomed! Shain assisted me every step of the way and made the process as positive and easy as possible! He answered all my questions and helped me pick every detail to make sure all my needs were met! Great guy and listened to me.
Austin made car buying fast and convenient
Did an application online it says no money down. Contact them at least 3 to 4 times letting them know about my credit and would that change the no money down was told no it wouldn’t at least 3 times. Drive all the way up there sitting waiting while they Lolly gag around doing nothing then he comes to do my stuff on the computer and the down payment goes from zero to 1800. They are some scammers will say anything to get you to come in. Once he said 1800 I got up and walked out. But just lies for no reason. Of course I had in mind that I would have to give some funds up. But to be lied to saying it’s zero down more than a few times it changed my mind. I don’t like liars. So If you do that application online and it says zero down and you speak to them and they confirm zero. There lying. It’s not true. I’m sure they lose a lot of sales they way tricking people to come in. If they had any sense and a good manager. They should say that. I know you did a pre approval online. But it is a possibility that you mite have to put something down for a vehicle. So that people won’t be expecting to not put any money down. Or waisting there time and gas. Just stop lying and be upfront. I’m sure you wouldn’t have so many walk outs.
Do not do business with DriveTime. I had the worst experience ever. I bought a car and within 24 hours I had problems. Lightbulb in the headlight went out and they refused to help. I was only told to call SilverRock. Customer service experience here was horrible. I would never recommend DriveTime to anyone. I am stuck with my vehicle that I hate and don’t want. Worse company you could possibly do business with.
Tim was outstanding
After a month of car shopping I was about to give up. From the moment I walked into the dealership I knew I was at the right place. The guys had a nice mellow vibe & weren't pushy. They asked what I wanted to see & didn't try to push some other car on me. Jesse worked with me on getting the car I wanted & getting it where it needed to be for my lawyer. Devlin was good about checking in with me & setting up appointments. Marcus gave me tips on how to save on insurance. The guys were patient while we waited on my lawyer to get his stuff together. My only complaint is calling the phone #, they were hard to reach. It was much easier to contact them via email or texting. Thanks to them I'm in a car that I love to drive!! I love it even more after driving it the 60 miles home. My son found some extra features than what was advertised.
Very quick and easy experience!
Very quick and easy experience
I really enjoyed the process of buying my car with drivetime!!!!! It was as comical, comfortable and easy!!! I worked with Candice at the Stone Mountain Ga location. She was very knowledgeable and friendly, she was sure to get me what I wanted! I also worked with Jefferey at the Union City Ga location to seal the deal!!!! I picked up the car from Union City and I had the most pleasurable moment with the Jefferey! I am happy and excited to be in the car that I want!!!!!
I was sold a Chevy Equinox from DriveTime at the end of March 2025. The buying process was a positive one. I was given 7 days to return it but I feel that just isn’t long enough. After the 7th day I had to reset the clock and had to do it every several days. Then the dashboard lights would go off and come back on a few minutes later. It did that a couple of times a day. I just thought it was over sensitivity to sunlight. I think I was in denial because I didn’t want to think there was something wrong. However, I was coming home one Friday evening during rush hour traffic in 85 degrees and the air conditioner stopped and when it came back on it was blowing hot air. It would shut off again and come back on blowing cold air for a moment but went back to hot air. The dashboard lights went completely dark. The clock stopped, the radio started flickering in and out and the wipers looked like they were trying to go on. While all this was happening at once, I became alarmed hoping my steering and brakes wouldn’t give out. I was scared to death and I still had 30 more miles to go to get home. Silverstone extended warranty referred me Rotolo Chevrolet and said when the service dept got back to them with a diagnosis, they would pay to get it fix and they’ll pay for a car rental up to $30 a day. I also had a $100 deductible. A week goes by and I’m informed by Rotolo that the whole dashboard needed to be replaced. Then he tells me, my extended warranty will not cover it. Which also means, the car rental is not covered either. To top it all off, the part is backordered. I called DriveTime immediately and they referred me to customer relations. I told them I just want my money back and they can have the car back. They wouldn’t do it. By this time I was sobbing on the phone because I was heartbroken after not having a car for 4 years and just getting a job when I was recovering from an auto accident, surgeries and severe COVID twice in the last 4 years. They would do absolutely nothing to help me and that was the final word. The next day Rotolo calls and says good new, Silverstone is paying for the repairs and the car rental. That wasn’t right though. I found out that customer relations gave the approval but they still would not pay for the rental. I’m still out over $1,000 in a rental so I can get back and forth to work. We are now in July 2025 and the part is still backordered and I am still shelving out $500 a week on a rental. I can’t make my car payment, the finance company will not let me skip a month because I haven’t had the car long enough. I just want to give the car back and get my money back and the best solution I got was, surrender the car but you lose your deposit and my credit for 7-10 years. I’m also going add the fact I can’t put my license plate on. For some reason there a too many holes in the bumper where the license plate is supposed to go. But none of them are aligned right. WTH!! Where do they get these cars? I believe they knew this car had issues and just wanted to get it off the lot. But now I’m stuck with a car that isn’t running, a loan payment I can’t pay and I’m going broke on rental fees. Don’t go to DriveTime. Every car I test drove didn’t feel right but the Equinox made it till right after the return window. Very convenient.
