Unzuverlässiger Lieferant! bei der Bestellung in März wird eine voraussichtliche Lieferzeit von ca. 10 Wochen angegeben. Im späteren Verlauf wird auf Lieferung am Anfang Juni korrigiert. Termin verschiebt sich nun auf Ende August, d.h sagenhaften 20- anstatt der ursprünglich vorgesehenen 10Wochen!!! Dabei hält es "DigiKey" nicht mal für nötig, die Kunden über etwaige "Verzögerungen" zu benachrichtigen. Die Lieferverzögerung wird nur nach explizite Anfrage über dem Verbleib kommuniziert .

Ich habe dringend eine spezielle Flash-Card benötigt (Industriestandard), diese wurde in DE erzeugt und dann über die USA versandt. Natürlich ohne Zoll und Einfuhr USt. Dies ist in den AGB vermerkt, aber lesen Sie alle AGB's? Ist wohl mein Fehler....passiert mir nicht nochmals, da dieselbe Karte in der EU dann billiger und ohne weiteren Aufwand geliefert worden wäre. Geiz ist geil....

Shipping options change depending on website's language, order had a processing delay of a whole day, high shipping costs, costumer service was okay, managed to talk to a human and get an estimated delivery time in under 5 minutes. Dirt cheap components in bulk quantities with good quality. Overall pretty nice, but shipping could be better.

Worst customer service and worst experience of placing an order. Took ages to process and then voided the order. Avoid this scummy company!

Digikey has a great selection of electronics products are reasonable prices. Delivery is fast. My last order was in January 2025 and took only a few days to arrive. I've never had anything go wrong with an order so I can't speak to their customer service in case of problems.

Good for me to source components. Recommed it.

When something goes wrong with orders, shipping, delivery or products, Digi-Key's customer service is completely useless. Either, they don't reply at all, or they reply with nonsense. On my last order, Digikey did collect Norwegian VAT, but they failed to fill out the shipping info correctly, hence the shipping company charged VAT again after import + a significant handling fee, making the total cost 66% higher than it should have been. The invoice clearly proves that DigiKey did indeed collect VAT, yet still they deny it. I've tried for more than a month to make them solve the issue, but their customer service representatives simply don't seem to care.

Tot eind 2024 liep alles goed met mijn bestellingen bij Digikey. Nu heb ik al 2x gehad dat ze niet versturen terwijl ik wel betaald heb. Ze reageren niet op email, ben dus m'n geld kwijt en heb de artikelen niet. Aanvulling: Het blijkt dat ze ongeveer een maand(!) nodig hebben om de betaling te verifieren. Al die tijd hoor je niks. Dan wordt de bestelling plots wel verstuurd.

Placed an order for hook up wire and got the confirmation email with links to check on the order. None of the links worked and only took me to blank pages. I then get the your order has shipped email but no tracking information, that was 5 days ago and still nothing from them regarding the tracking. I also got an email tyelling me it was going to take 5 days to ship the order AFTER they told me it had been shipped???? Emailed them 3 times asking where my order was and when I was getting the tracking information and no one has bother responding. They have my money and I have nothing and from all accounts, no likely hood of getting anything either. Ironically, just after I placed that order I placed another order with a Chinese company. That order has already left China and is on its way here. In short you can depend on the Chinese more than you can some mob in the US.

It has been a month now since i placed my order. And its already been more then a week since i changed my payment method, wire transfered the money, and sent an email as the guy on the phone said. No response so far. One star because i didn’t have to wait unreasonably long when calling them. Will try that again.

Advertise free shipping on an Australian website. No choice in carrier and get it with customs fees, (around 20% value of product) GST is not included. Order took 1.5 weeks to even show up on their system... Fraudulent (Free shipping)

Ich habe Ware, die ab Lager lieferbar gekennzeichnet war auch nach 11 Monaten nicht bekommen. Eine Rückerstattung der Bezahlung (per Vorkasse) wird auch nicht geleistet. Das Einreichen der Gutschrift im Onlineshop ist nicht vorgesehen. Vom Kauf bei Digikey ist dringend abzuraten.

Attention!!!! If it would be possible, i´d give them minuspoints. I work in this business since 30 years but this is the worst service and firm i´v ever encountered.: 1.) If you buy, you have to pay customs because ist should come from USA, but it arrives in 3 days... from USA??? And they don´t calculate it in the checkout. There is only a small notice if you read relaly EVERYTHING on EVERY side. It shows up as an austrian firm but if you buy only some part, the customs are more expensive then the things you bought. 2.) There was in their system our firm registred as an australian firm, but we are in Austria. I tried to change it, sent them a mail but no reaction. Then we posted an order, as we needed parts urgently, put in the right country and nevertheless they charged the taxes. On my mail, that the VAT-No. is correct, tey have only the false country, and they should please correct this, they answered, i should deal this with paypal, they have the false adress, Austria, not Australia. Are they def, not able to read, totally ignorant or both???

Couldn’t find the components I required in the UK. Digikey had them shipped to me from the US in five days, no problems, great service.

They are my least favorite components supplier, and I continue to accumulate minor complaints. When they ship you the wrong parts, they charge you for them until you return them. Any normal company would ask for the return and send a label if they cared, but not this one. Your missing $10 item just became a $400 punishment—tough luck. I only use them when no one else has the item in stock, and I can't wait for a custom order. Their prices are generally worse than the alternatives, and their service is slow and rude.

On Saturday, I called to place an order by phone and Tia, the sales representative, was exceptionally helpful in providing product and shipping information. On Tuesday, I called to complete the order; in contrast, Thini (?) was abrupt, unhelpful and told me to place the order on-line. She then hung up! What a discouraging difference in professionalism and customer courtesy.

I love Digi-Key's website. It is top notch for finding the parts you need. However, they are no longer quick to ship. I order from them regularly. They used to ship same day on orders up to 8 pm CST. Since Covid, you are lucky if they ship it the same day and sometimes it is 2 days later. I have been finding parts on Digikey, and then buying them on Mouser.

I sometimes have a tricky situation where the address I order to can change depending on time of year or my schedule. Now, most businesses can handle this reasonably well. Several emails deep into support and they've managed to mangle everything worse than I could ever hope to, and they changed my name to my OLD last name to boot, because they apparently cannot comprehend why my email addresses could possibly have my old last name in them, nor that the email tied to my paypal can be different from my normal email. I'm avoiding digikey in the future unless I have no other choice.

Buyer beware!! I asked if I could evaluate a product and still return it, and was told yes. When I tried to return it, they informed me that the "terminal screws looked used" and denied my return! How can you evaluate a product without "using the terminal screws"? Don't expect any customer support from DigiKey. Try Mouser instead!
