Hab bei Digikey Original Ersatz für einen defekten Treiber für eine Fluence LED gefunden. Lieferung nach Österreich unter 7 Tage, gut verpackt. Gerät verdrahtet, einschalten, LED funktioniert wieder. Preis war sehr günstig. Bin super happy das alles reibungslos geklappt hat, Danke.
Stundenlang nach Teilen gesucht, bestellt & per paypal bezahlt. Bestellbestätigung erhalten und über24h später dann dubiose Email von einer dubiosen Emailadresse wegen Kreditkarteninfos, bzw. Telefonüberweisung erhalten. Was soll sowas? Absolut nervig, intransparent und inakzeptabel, da die Teile schnellstmöglichst benötigt werden und das ganze die Anmutung von fraud hat. Ich rate sehr davon ab, bei Digikey zu bestellen.

Comme un commentaire précédent, j'ai failli ne pas passer commande à cause des mauvais retours concernant la douane. Aucun souci pour ma part. Commande passée lundi très tard le soir, colis reçu via UPS, mercredi matin (sachant que le colis est expédié depuis les Etats-Unis). UPS ne m'a pas demandé de payer de frais supplémentaire. J'avais une petite appréhension car l'incoterm était CPT pour UPS au moment de choisir le transporteur. Il faut bien prendre le temps de comprendre le fonctionnement des frais de douane pour éviter les mauvaises surprises. CPT veut dire que si frais de douane il y a, ces frais seront avancés par le transporteur et ce dernier demandera au destinataire de le rembourser en plus de frais de dossier non négligeable. Au moindre centime avancé par UPS, il y aura des frais de dossier qui pourraient dépasser le prix de la commande elle-même si on a acheté des petites choses. Pour les commandes de moins de 150€, digikey collecte directement la TVA et l'enregistre via une plateforme européenne (IOSS). Elle communique cette information au transporteur (en tout cas UPS dans mon cas) pour que ce dernier ne paye pas à nouveau la TVA auprès de la douane francaise. Concernant les frais de douane en soit (différent de la taxe TVA), il faut savoir qu’on a une franchise de 150 euros. Pour certains articles, cette franchise n’est pas appliquée. Très content de DigiKey et vraiment impressionné par les prix compétitifs et la rapidité de la livraison malgré que ça soit expédié de l’autre côté de l’atlantique.
I've made a purchase in Digikey and made the PayPal payment with no problems. They decided to make the shipment (they did not ask me permission to do that) in two transactions and two boxes wich makes me pay two different customs process 50 USD each. When I send them an email asking who would pay the second customs process they ignored the question an said something about an stock error. Next day they started to make DAILY debits of 12.15 USD for no reason. I've sent an email to customer support and got no answer. Tried to open disputes in PayPal for these transactions but it seems is not allowed to make these with Digikey. Today 26 Feb and another debit from Digikey on my card, 6 in total now. Today I've called the bank to get the card cancelled with gives me the inconvenient to be without card for a few days and to be charged by the bank for the new card. I'm done buying with Digikey - closing account. PayPal also - closing it too - as the protection plan does not work with all companies. So Mouser from now on
Rücksendeformulare, die Digikey bereitstellt, reichen nicht aus. Miserabeler Service. Kein Rückversand nach München möglich. Nie wieder!

I ordered parts from Digikey for a class project that not even cost $25.00. I soon received an email from Digikey asking me to provide my bank routing and account numbers, a government photo ID, and social security number. The utter hubris of a company attempting to seek information they have no right to even request. I should also add that Digikey is no where even setup to hold and protect that information. It won't be long until we hear about a class action liability case.

A few decades back it was common to hear talk about how large US companies could deliver an item to the UK quicker than most local competitors. The world has changed a lot since then. However, I ordered some obscure items on Monday morning (due to no stock elsewhere) and they surprised me by turning up early this Wednesday morning from the US. Very impressive. And nice to see the use of non-plastic protective packaging.

I live in the US and have no issues with Digikey. Every order has been correct as far as getting the right components. Components are packaged extremely well. Packages arrive in a timely manner. I will continue to do business with them for sure.
Commande de quelques composants pour un total de 20 €. Sur le papier tout est merveilleux : import rapide des USA, fiabilité de la livraison par UPS... Sauf que la commande est bloquée en douane car les frais n'ont pas été acquittés. Limite arnaque.

Wir bestellen regelmäßig dort. Super schnell, extrem viel Lagernd, bei Problemen immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Klar passiert mal der eine oder andere Fehler, aber bis jetzt wurde immer super schnell reagiert und wir waren am Ende immer Zufrieden! Danke! Weiter so ;-)
Beware of DigiKey's non compliance with the contracted incoterms! When you buy from Europe (through digikey dot de, digikey dot es or the other fake "local" branches, all of them just aliases of digikey dot com at 204.221.76.76), you secure DDP incoterms by paying in Euros (so prices include a hefty premium to cover duties and customs). DigiKey also collects VAT on behalf of the European authorities. But, AFTER PAYMENT, DigiKey violates the terms of the contract by sending the package under CPT incoterms, so the taxes, duties and customs you paid "evaporate", and you are stuck in customs, forced to pay twice. It is impossible to solve the problem by writing to "customer support" and providing the evidences of the contracted terms (screenshots, their own webpage...), because you can only contact AI chatbots clumsily posing as humans, with the intelligence of a frog and the rudeness of a gorilla. The current ChatGPT technology can write convincing text, even haiku, but it doesn't understand what "DDP incoterms" means. Or maybe it doesn't understand what "written contract" means. Not to mention "alleged misappropriation of taxes, duties and customs"... I will never buy again from DigiKey, but they will keep abusing innocent makers until we stops them. Just browse their Trustpilot page, activating "all languages", to see the horrifying experiences reported from France, Germany, Spain... Now, our only hope are the legal enforcement actions of the European authorities. We are providing them with all the evidence, so they can verify the alleged misappropriation of the taxes, duties and customs collected on their behalf, and use the international courts to recover the money and stop this scam.
Terrible company to do business with. Don't expect any customer service, sent the same order twice at the same time and won't do anything about it. Of course they charged me twice. Now my credit card company is taking care of it.
