Bethan Pike was our property manager and has probably been the most caring and attentive person we've had manage our tenancy. When we ever had issues with the property, she was always responsive and helpful and also managed the end of our tenancy/deposit very well, handling a dispute with our landlord. We've had horrendous experiences with estate agents and private landlords in the past so it's a breath of fresh air to know there are great people out there.
Lottie at Dexters in Surbiton was on the ball, and always called me back if I left a message. She is very helpful and keen, and a great asset to Dexters. I would recommend using Lottie for your next house sale.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Tia from the property management team for a number of years now and it’s always been a smooth and professional experience.
I admit I was cautious and doubtful any real estate agents in general but Dexters proved me wrong. The way they handled everything for the last two years should be an example to every other real estate company who let properties. From the time I stepped into the flat to the time I stepped out they were always available for my queries.
Problems happen all the time and some in nobody’s control. Dexters know how to handle them and treat their clients with the utmost respect. I will definitely go back to them for any letting or buying opportunities in the future. They’re honest, friendly and try their best with everything they do. Kiera, Aleina, Charlotte, Iara and Emily have managed the transition to a new tenant so well and were very cooperative every time we worked with them. Nothing but good things!
Dexter, particularly agents Brandon and Olivia, are involved in highly inappropriate practices. They pushed for a deposit on an expensive flat but then left us without key updates and no answer to contract related questions for weeks.
When we finally received a draft contract, it contained HIDDEN and unlawful CHARGES —fees for a septic tank, additional landlord insurance, and other costs that should never be the tenant’s responsibility.
Then the landlord contacted us directly, asking why Dexter had advised them to move on from us when the landlord themselves were happy with us as tenants. The landlord showed us a few screenshots of emails and WhatsApp messages from Olivia, where Dexter falsely portrayed us as difficult tenants. While we were told the landlord is not happy with our questions / changes. This two-faced, backstabbing behavior is completely unacceptable.
Our company’s legal team reviewed this contract and flagged it as unfit for signing due to its numerous unlawful clauses, yet Dexter dismissed our concerns insisting all undiscussed extra costs were “reasonable.”
The landlord also wrote us these agents have KPIs to hit. So if you question hidden clauses, they’ll ignore you rather than engage.
Lastly, DO NOT TRUST their 5-star reviews—Dexter repeatedly pushed for glowing feedback, which is clearly misleading given their exploitative practices.
