Bethan Pike was our property manager…

Bethan Pike was our property manager and has probably been the most caring and attentive person we've had manage our tenancy. When we ever had issues with the property, she was always responsive and helpful and also managed the end of our tenancy/deposit very well, handling a dispute with our landlord. We've had horrendous experiences with estate agents and private landlords in the past so it's a breath of fresh air to know there are great people out there.

Lottie at Dexters in Surbiton was on the ball, and always called me back if I left a message. She is very helpful and keen, and a great asset to Dexters. I would recommend using Lottie for your next house sale.

Extremely disappointed with my experience with Dexters. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Extremely disappointed with my experience with Dexters. I had a flat viewing confirmed for Saturday at 14:00 with an agent named Joseph Hollinshead. My partner and I showed up on time — only to find that Joseph wasn’t there, and the properties we were meant to see weren’t even available. One had gone under offer that morning, and the other was undergoing landlord works. Joseph claimed to have called me to cancel, but no voicemail, text, or email was left — absolutely no effort was made to ensure I was actually informed. As a result, we wasted our time on a weekend (including my partner’s birthday) for nothing. The lack of professionalism and communication is truly unacceptable. If you value your time and expect even basic courtesy, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

We appreciate Ola Pinnick

Our current flat has unfortunately had a number of issues since the day we moved in, and at times, we’ve felt quite disheartened about any of them being solved. That’s when Ola Pinnick reached out and said she’d been put on our case. We didn’t know it then but it was an absolute blessing in this whole process. Ola has always been responsive, proactive and most of all set on helping us solve our issues. Thanks to her, things got done and our living conditions have improved. We hope that as many tenants as possible will be lucky enough to have Ola help them.

They used the management keys to enter my flat when I told them not to enter without me there!

I am writing about the Goodge Street branch of Dexters. First time I came into the flat, Dexters said that it has been “professionally cleaned” but when I walked in, there was dust all over the floor and the previous tenant’s used bedding dumped in a heap across the bed. Dexter’s just responded “well it is not like it is uninhabitable”. When Dexter’s have a client for viewing they said to me that they will give me 24 hours notice but I received that a viewing has been confirmed only 4 hours before. When I said I can not make a time and date they asked if they could use the management keys to enter because the client was leaving the country in 2 days. They then rescheduled for 4 days later (when the client would have already left?!) and then on the day they cancelled the viewing. Specifically, this was from the Goodge Street branch. I told them not to come into my flat without me being there, they used the management keys and entered. They left the light on as well. I called them about this but they said that it never happened. The flat is nice but the client treatment is absolutely awful.
