The Exchange is a great tool. To be honest, it has declined a little over the years in my opinion, but it is still a fantastic asset to any courier or haulage business. It helps us cover work when we are stuck and obtain re-loads for our own returning vehicles.
I want to sincerely thank Joshua for the support he provided during my onboarding in the CX team. His guidance was clear, patient, and thorough, which made the transition much smoother and less overwhelming. He took the time to walk me through key processes, answered all my questions, and shared practical insights that helped me get up to speed quickly. It worries me that all the 5 star reviews mention a name on the onboarding team, seems a little like false advertising. In truth I have finished a year with them and would never go back. Not enough work, spent the vast majority of my days sat in a layby staring at my phone desperate for anything and hardly ever win. Don't be fooled by their generated response to my review which I can tell you will already read something like (if you'd contacted support we could help you find work). It's marketing on their part. It isn't rocket science. A job comes up you bid and don't get it. I had 100% positive feedback but a load posted would still choose someone £5 cheaper whos got bad feedback because let's be honest, they just want as much profit as possible from the job. All in all it's nowhere near worth it. Even for free you'd struggle to get enough work each week. The last time I logged in there were 89 drivers within 5 miles of me and 2 jobs to bid on. So go figure why you won't win the job. 89 people desperate to undercut each other through sheer desperation.

Hi I have now worked a full year every week off the year and what I have worked out is not good as I have put in a lot of hours and the rewards are not good. The courier companies are not paying well at all and they don’t even wish to pay a pound a mile doesn’t matter what size vehicle you have, they will advertise a job and then say it’s sold or cancelled then re advertise it five minutes later sometimes even after a minute as they don’t want to pay the price you are bidding at, even if the time runs out they will still advertise afterwards again by changing the time just because they want to pay as little as possible some going as low as 50p per mile that is ridiculous. I have proof of them cancelling or putting as sold and then re advertising same job they are not fair and it’s not fair on the drivers as they pay for fuel , insurance ,cx cost for membership and also have their own vehicle and other costs related to that. Some companies that’s probably 30% will pay a fair price for the job this is not fair and the companies are large and small it doesn’t make a difference they are all trying to make the most profit and don’t really care about the drivers. Overall I have had 70% off my earnings spent in expenses related to this job and yes it’s busy but only for about four months of the year. The quieter 8 months you can’t get a job unless the company is desperate and it’s only then someone like myself will get a job because I don’t want to do the job for free and it’s not worth my time and effort. To sum up it’s only a good part time job in the busy part of the year summer months about three months and the rest of the year it’s a slow drag and can hardly get any jobs my reviews are hundred percent positive and I do the job perfectly with a lot of years experience even before joining cx. My last words are the drivers are being exploited and unless cx pays attention to all my concerns they will not have happy clients that is the drivers who pay for their incomes and the reason the company is successful it will struggle unless my concerns are addressed. And the other reason they make a huge profit is because they charge a lot of money for the membership. I was told by some of the older members that it used to be a lot better and the companies used to pay better rates to the drivers for the jobs they bid for but now that they’re is a lot of drivers less work and not good rates and a lot of foreign drivers and they are bidding really low prices as well so the courier companies are exploiting the situation. I’m going to have to get my own customers to make it worth while or do something else as I can’t continue like this much more as it’s not worth my hard work I could do a 9to5 job and earn a lot more. Thanks for asking for my opinion even though you won’t like the facts but that’s the truth and reality.

Absolutely useless app for van drivers. It seems to be made for middlemen. Only they can make money with this app. Also, you have to stare at your phone or computer screen every time to catch a decent order. You can spend all day in front of your computer and not get a single order because the price is too low. Besides, you will receive the money you earned only after a month. I do not recommend using it if you want to make money.

I have never been more satisfied with any other online service than I am with courier exchange. Before signing up, I had a million doubts and I was scared to just put my money in somewhere where there was no guarantee. Then I came in touch with Joshua Taylor. He is the reason I am a 5 star driver for CX today.He really helped me with the onboarding process efficiently and hassle free. He answered to all my questions in a flash and pretty much helped me with everything you need to be able to start earning. I would really recommend that if you are planning to on board onto Courier exchange, ask for Joshua on the phone.
