Responsive and user friendly service. Efficient.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The buyer of my property has chosen to use these incompetent solicitors. My solicitors have been waiting almost 4 weeks for response to enquiries, have been ignoring my solicitor’s requests for an update, been telling the buyer that they haven’t received any response from me, lying about dates they’ve been given information. So if you want a quick easy sale, do not use! I think my buyer is using a solicitor called Sheree? Even the estate agents can never manage to speak with her. We are almost 12 weeks since issuing initial contracts with no sign of a completion date.
Useless - a must avoid company
I sold my house with conveyancing direct and I just wanted to say how amazing emma rogers was throughout! The process took a lot longer than we had anticipated and it cause a great deal of stress but Emma worked tirelessly ti get he job done and kept me reassured throughout the whole journey. She is a credit to the company and I can’t thank her enough for everything she done for me and I know she will continue to do the same for other people as well
I have just used conveyancing direct for my remortgage. I was appointed them by my lender. I have been pleased with the service provided. It was done in the timescale I requested and my questions were answered so I knew what was happening.
Friendly efficient and professional service
Our experience with Conveyancing Direct has been exceptional and our contact with Ceri Greenslade has been amazing. Our property fell through a few times due to the Economic problems within the housing market due to the mortgage rate and people in the chain losing buyers and then not able to sell their property again at a price they needed to be able to move on and complete. I told our Estate Agent at the start my solicitor would be excellent and have all the replies returned immediately on everything and be ready for exchange and completion when required. Before completion our Estate Agent agreed Ceri had been excellent and had been very helpful during the whole process and would be good if all solicitors could be the same. When Ceri was not available someone else was always available to help with anything we had requested help with. Once again thank you Conveyancing Direct and a special mention again to Ceri who helped keep me sane during the last few months and a fair few months before completion was achieved. 100% Professionalism without any doubt Best regards Kevin & Catherine Squirrell

Absolutely terrible. Never ending delays... Seems like whole company got only ONE solicitor who is lazy as F or/and gets sick every Monday. They lie - this is something our estate agent confirmed. If your solicitor send some enquiries to Conveying Direct you must know that they will delay it for min MONTH. They are delaying our case and what's best - they LIED to estate agent. They never passed enquiries from our lawyer to sellers. Estate agent confirmed that sellers never knew about additional enquiries... What's best - you can't complaint. They can't do staff, there's no body from "the team" etc... Despite urgent case and MONTH delay (multiple delays) EXPECT from them: 1. Lack of professionalism 2. They are solicitors but they're either sick every Monday or decide to cease communication - even with their customers... HORRIBLE! Avoid as you may end up like me - failing to proceed with purchase!
I had an awesome and stress free conveyancing process with Mereville. She was just God sent. I was a first time buyer and completely clueless about the process. Mereville Abroquah made it so easy and seamless. We felt blessed to have her as our solicitor.

Conveyancing Direct deserve a 5A rating! Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid else expect nothing but stress, irritation, desperation and anger! Recommended by our estate agents we should have ignored them and used a local solicitor. I have never come across such an incompetent company. They NEVER return your calls, ignore emails, take ages to answer the ‘phone send through legal documents as editable Word templates littered with errors and omissions, lie to you about processes being completed when they haven’t even started them. Like others we went through various case handlers who were always at lunch, unavailable or on holiday. They lost our signed contracts so we failed to exchange on time so lost our removal slot, we had a chain of 3 people, no mortgages involved anywhere but on the day of completion despite them confirming having the money from our sale at 10.30 am they failed to complete our purchase until 3.45pm causing us to have to pay overtime to our removal company. Now we have had a letter from the tax office to say our stamp duty has not been paid and us still due! No communication from conveyancing direct at all to confirm expenses since receiving the invoice from them on the day of exchange. I cannot believe the good reviews are genuine for this company as all the negative reviews mirror our experience. Do not go there and don’t use anyone associated with your estate agent either. They promised us a stress free experience how wrong they were….
Worked with cdpl on the sale of my Mums property. Throughout they were transparent, efficient, and timely. Even with the expected few wrinkles. They made the whole process low stress. Highly recommend.

Really wish I had read the reviews before accepting the referral from the estate agent selling my property. Misleading, slow, unresponsive and they completely ignore requests so the sale of the property took months. Once exchanged i was informed that vital information had not been filled out correctly on a form from a third party, something they failed to check beforehand. Once my property completed I had no update, no proof of funds had been transferred to me and no statement. If I had not followed up with the estate agent I would not know anything. To this day I still have never received a statement or funds transfer remittance or even the acknowledgment that my property did complete. The main funds took 3 business days to reach me after completion and conveyancing direct withheld further money with no grounds to do so. I took my own legal advice from a separate experienced firm, so after numerous letters and calls to conveyancing direct I finally had all the money released nearly 2 weeks later. These people call themselves property lawyers and have ‘lawyer’ in each team member title…..however this couldn’t be further from the truth as they are completely inexperienced and if I didn’t take my own legal advice would be out of pocket due to the direction Conveyancing Direct tried to incorrectly advise on. Complete lack of understanding of contract and property law. Pay more if you need to but avoid these people. Awful experience.
