Amazed at the poor reviews as I had excellent service from Reece Seymour who managed my remortgage. Reece was very professional and kept me updated throughout the process. Would definately use this company again.

Regular, informed and timely updates on progress of both our sale and purchase. Excellent support and accessibility provided by our conveyancing solicitor Tom Mclaren-Roberts.

Thankfully this bunch were not acting on our behalf, sadly they were acting for our buyer. A very long and drawn out process, caused by delays from their end. Rachel Brown never answers messages, calls or anything with an answer or a straight one. What should have been a straightforward and quick sale has taken over 6 months!! AVOID like the plague.
Exceptional service from Jess Day, could not fault her professional approach and problem solving to help us buy our new family home, after numerous problems from our buyer/solicitors,Jess resolved them all, kept us in constant contact , We have moved several times in the past, best solicitors we have ever used,
Please avoid this company. Awful customer service and short staffing is the excuse that is given! Expensive and slow company please please stay away. I wouldn’t even rate 1 star but only option I can click!
Rebekka has been dealing with a house sale for myself and my ex partner and I can’t praise her enough. It’s not been the easiest situation for her to deal with but she has been on the ball and responded to any queries quickly. Thankyou Rebekka. Regards mr Bradley
Simple, straightforward, seemless. Made the whole process far easier than I remember with other companies. Reece who managed my case was very profesional and responsive.
It was a pleasure to work with the conveyancing Direct solicitors. Kieran was very skilled, knew what he was doing, and was dedicated to his job. His attention to detail, promptness, clear communication, and honesty made sure that the sale of our house went smoothly. Their services were great, so we would gladly use them again in the future.
Very satisfactory experience. Everything was handled swiftly and it was always easy to make contact with Trish Hamilton who dealt with our re-mortgage
Rebekka was very professional and efficient keeping me updated and always looking out for my interests during the transaction. She even put in extra time over the Christmas break to help us meet an early January completion date.
Very professional and courteous service. Was kept updated throughout the sale and purchase process via email and phone calls by my conveyancer Rebekka Davies. Highly recommended !
Rebekka Davies handled the sale of my property. I am very happy with my experience and the sale went through without any issue. Rebekka kept me updated regularly via email and phone calls. Would definitely use this company again for future sales / purchases.
NEVER EVER USE this company. Special mention to Lauren Wright and her boss Mr Singh. Lauren has a non working day on a Tuesday so if you email on Monday you will not get a response, and that is if you do get a response until Thursday, When I complained her boss Mr Singh told me that his staff are entitled to a life and his other quote was 'It's the way of the world.' It is a pity that Mr Singh did not realise that it is the client who indirectly pays his wages. I was also told by Lauren that i was 'not allowed' to email and then follow up with a phone call.. is this not normal business practice especially when there is no response when you ask a question? It took 18 weeks to complete on our purchase with only 2 in the chain. We are now buying another property and were asked by the agent, who does get a back hander from these companies for referral, did we want to use a conveyancing company.. save money and time.. No thanks never ever again would i use one, Mr Singh instead of defending your staff why not ask them why they are taking so long to do their jobs. We also had 4 different people deal with our sale, AVOID like the plague... 0/10
Excellent service from the case handler Trish Wilson who completed the case within a week of receiving mortgage offer. We were originally advised it wouldn’t be possible to complete before Christmas, but with best efforts from clients and lender and Trish going the extra mile, we got the case funded
Conveyancing Direct was appointed by my new lender as part of a remortgage. I found them to be efficient, prompt and courteous, both in their email communications and by telephone. Their online portal provided clear updates on the progression of the conveyancing. I would be happy to use them again if needed.
SARAH EVANS has been very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful whilst buying my first house and I'm really happy with the service. Thank you 🤗
I have to say my experience with Coveyancing Direct has been one of the worst in my life to date its your job to know the legalities with regards to my property the only thing i should have information about is the fixtures and fitting and the relevant guarantee's if they are available you do not provide a free service you are being paid and therefore i am your customer and should be treated as such not be made to feel that the reason that process is delayed because i don't have answer's to certain legal questions that is why we pay to when we want to buy and sell are homes saying and i quote you don't know a lot about you property that's why the process is delayed is blaming your customer would a mechanic say to a car owner you don't know much about your car that is why there is a delay in my fixing your car would a customer accept that as a response also you have to understand the sale of a property through a particular estate agency is time sensitive a period of six months and then seller can take their business elsewhere
Iam dealing with this unprofessional now was recommended them by estate agents,Iam a seller of single one bed. No chain no complications email send seems not to be reading properly, the same requests send you you after months even if you replied to them , When you call them you my experience they will tell you as customer ,,I have not got time now ,,been told that on two occasions ,no one deals with your stuff when someone goes on holiday, and emails exchange they done mostly on Monday and Friday to delay your case POOR SERVICE UNPROFESSIONAL TEAM AVOID THIS PEOPLE
I had Leah as my solicitor, she was very informative and communication was good. The process did take longer than expected but any queries were answered in detail so I understood the reasons why. Victoria covered in Leah's absence - both were very quick to respond. Although it sometimes felt like things were taking forever, Victoria was always on the other end of the phone/email to let me know where we were with each step of the process. I was happy with the service provided and will use conveyancing direct in the future (providing Leah is my solicitor)!
If this organisation is any part of your sale or purchase chain avoid - they are the definition of you get what you pay for. Nothing is done with care or quality and timeliness and communication is not avoid a priority to them.
Although the process took longer than expected, mainly due to land registry delays, Kyle S kept us informed what was happening and always replied very promptly.

Many reviewers praise the exceptional support provided by solicitors like Tom Mclaren-Roberts and Sara Costas, noting their responsiveness and clear communication throughout the conveyancing process. Positive experiences often emphasize timely updates and a smooth transaction, particularly for first-time buyers. However, a substantial number of complaints point to poor communication and unprofessional behavior from certain staff members, leading to frustration and dissatisfaction. Customers express disappointment with slow service and a lack of updates, which detracts from the overall experience. While some clients have had positive interactions, the negative reviews suggest that potential customers should proceed with caution.
