Flat wasn't ready, and a parking mix up
We rented a flat from CKB Estate Agents in the winter of 2021. When we moved in, none of the radiators worked, and so the first night's sleep I could see my own breath. I had to stay somewhere else for the next night before someone came to fix it. Surely someone comes to check the flat is ready to live in before we start paying our rent? Whilst this was all going on, I got multiple messages from CKB asking us to leave them a review - not great timing really! The advert stated that there was off-road parking which was crucial to us. After parking our car on the drive, a neighbour told us it wasn't out drive to park on. CKB said it was the landlady's fault, and the landlady blamed CKB. Whilst I think it was probably the landlady's fault, it was a shame their first reaction was to point the finger at someone else rather than help us resolve the situation. When we were moving out, we had to tell them a couple of times to remove the same parking info off the new advert, so the next tenants didn't have to go through the same problem!
