Straightforward website, no problems.

Excellent with very good collaborators

Booking experience with them is fine - although you need to make sure to search for cars with unlimited mileage only. That's because they don't show the included miles in the search mask or during the booking process. You will only find out on your voucher after booking. The worst part is cancelling a booking with them. It takes them ages to return the money and in some cases they even refuse to do so despite cancelling at least 48 hours before the start of the car rental. Their customer service is a nightmare but at least they are very creative in finding excuses why they can't return the money. This looks like a scam to me and I have heard that authorities in The Netherlands are investigating EasyTerra, which operates carrentals.co.uk and is based in The Netherlands, because of this.

I have organised our car rental for the last three years through Carrentals Each time the whole experience has been very positive. The web site is very easy to navigate with plenty of options and choices. On the one occasion I had to contact the Customer Service representative , I found them very knowledgeable and they clarified a few points I wasn’t clear on. Equally, the companies through whom I collected the car from clearly trusted Carrentals and the whole process was fast and efficient.

A good choice of options and easy booking

Carrentals.co.uk delivers top choice of hire cars. I use rental brands I know and have never had significant problems excepting queues at the car hire desk (outside carrentals control).

Very simple to get on line, perfect when collect ring car at airport.

Please avoid them for your own sake. I needed to make an emergency 400 miles trip due to COVIC-19 situation and reserved the car via Carrentals. Not in a one place, there was anything mention about the 200 miles limit when I was booking it. Straight away after payment went trough, I receive email with, where I found out about this hidden limit and extra cost associated with it. Call them straight away to ask about adjusting it or cancel it and they could not do anything even though I book it 5 min earlier. Disgraceful customer service without any willingness to help. After you pay, you on your own, and the will be transferring your calls directly to a car provider company despite the fact that you made a business with them. You will get a better deal booking directly with the car provider for the same money as they mostly include unlimited mileage.

Easy to book and when I had to cancel because of coronavirus the cancellation was accepted immediately.

Best rental car website. It is easy to find the vehicle you need, with the options you want. The fact they cover for your excess is great.
