DMV RIP-OFF ARTISTS!

Your "Convenience Fee" is a rip-off. Convenience for You, NOT I. Shipping charges? Rip-off. For a $.50 postage stamp. "Service Fee"? RIP-OFF What service did you give ME? I DID all the typing. What did you do to earn $29.00?

Good, but very expensive.

The Good: The service was straightforward and easy, and they offer next day and two day shipping on top of regular mail. The Bad: You're charged a $5 fee to send you an email copy of your registration and a $10 convenience fee. This would be completely fine if they didn't also charge you a $30 service fee. Their justification is that they are a service and charge a service fee, but this is just double dipping since it's more fees on top of that. They also try to scare you into getting next day or 2 day shipping by saying there's no delivery guarantee with regular mail. Bottom Line: If you lost your tags, this is a great service but has a steep price to pay for that mistake. If you're just renewing, pay via the DMV website and avoid the ridiculous fees.
