Fantastic. Was so easy to put together simple clear instructions went on perfectly. I had some pieces missing I found the email easily, I contacted them, they was really helpful and sent me the missing parts straight out. Thank you so much would highly recommend these guys!

Ordered a roof rack and it arrived when promised and fitted perfectly. Cheapest company I found online and was delighted vs the cost of some of the big names like Halfords etc at double the price

DO NOT USE

DO NOT USE . Ordered roof rack for car for holiday. Paid £6 for priority 1-2 day delivery. 5 days later still nothing. The phone number is not recognised and no response from website contact form.They should be removed from Google search engines so honest working people don't get scammed by them.

Wanted to leave a review based on my experience using car rack Ordered a kids paddle board 31/03/25 paid my money before I looked at some of the reviews online never got shipping confirmation but the wife phoned me this morning 2/04/25 and the paddle board is at the front door so ended ok for me I know not everyone has had it as easy and think that car racks UK needs to look at there customer service for people using this site

Crooks

Paid extra for priority delivery and nothing came. Not even a dispatched email from seller. Tried contacting carracks via email no reply and the number they have on there website doesn't exist. Avoid these crooks and go elsewhere.

Shocking experience avoid

I would avoid trying to buy from this company Shocking experience Ordered 19th Jan paid for express delivery and heard nothing for a week I then tried to ring but number doesn’t exist They don’t reply to emails either Same company as Mick Garage based in Ireland. I cancelled product and requested a refund Product arrived 10 days later I requested pickup and after threatening a PayPal dispute they arranged pick up via email No refund after numerous email requests Just said product never arrived back with them despite me showing the receipts from the 19th Feb Eventually got refund through PayPal yesterday the 20th March Avoid at all Costs would be my advice

So first the good news

So first the good news; my roof bars turned up and were correct. The rest, not so great. When ordering there is an option to pay a bit more for quick delivery which I did. I received an email to confirm the order but never had a dispatch email or tracking number. I chased the order up after a few days and no reply to 2 emails or the contact form on the website, which is the same business as Micks Garage in Dublin. There phone does not connect. Started a dispute with the bank and then the stuff turned up a week or so later although parcelforce exhibited pretty high levels of incompetence to be fair. The company have now been paid. I then got an email from micks garage saying its been delivered... So, the stuff mainly turns up but very poor communication. I would avoid. Theroofbox site is better as they have a working phone.

Item has yet to arrive, phone number doesn't work... I paid extra for express delivery 1-2 working days, at this point I have little confidence it will ever show up, luckily I paid via PayPal so hopefully I will be able to get my money back. Avoid at all costs.

Roofbars arrived slightly late but good quality

I don’t normally post reviews, but after seeing all the negative reviews, I wanted to post my positive experience. Having expected the roofbars to arrive within 4/5 days, when they hadn’t arrived and I’d heard nothing from Carracks, I looked deeper into the company and delivery times. Public information available didn’t look good, so I started to worry that I’d been scammed. I was very pleasantly surprised, after reading all the negative reviews, when my bars were delivered a couple of days later - exactly as described. More transparent delivery times and better communication would have got Carracks a five star review from me!

Terrible service

Terrible service, be very wary of this company if ordering from the UK. There is nothing on the car racks site that mentions its a company based in Ireland called Micks garage. Placed an order then shortly after emailed to cancel, emailed again to cancel a day later, both emails auto-acknowledged but no reply received. Received the item a week later with no tracking information or any other communication. Paid for return postage from the UK to Ireland, with package marked for customs as a product return, Micks garage then didn't reply to any communication from myself, customs or the carrier to confirm it was a genuine product return leaving me having to pay return postage for an item I didn't need. Their phone number goes to a recorded message and they ignore any emails that can't be ansered with a copy and past respone. Absolutely abysmal company to deal with.
