Carolina Cabin Rentals

Great communication before arrival but once at the cabin, it was really hands off, which isn't always bad. Everyone was quick to respond with questions I had from everything about coffee pots to air mattress sizes that would fit in a room. Once at the cabin, we had a question that was answered immediately and well but we also had an issue that wasn't resolved or responded to, which seemed out of character. I wish the cabin had more info about local nuances (trash, sheet protocol, etc) either in the cabin or on the website with all of the other info like door code and wifi. It would allow the communication flow to stay at the same great level as before we arrived.

Let me start off by saying the property was beautiful and had absolutely gorgeous views! We stayed at 1 Heavens Peak. Unfortunately our stay was somewhat ruined by how dirty the property was. We came to find dirty dishes in the dishwasher, food in bedrooms, a dirty refrigerator, food in couches, and stains on the bedding to name a few things. With Covid, I already planned on wiping things down with Clorox wipes. After we started wiping things down it was very disappointing to find how dirty things were. I did contact Carolina Cabins and they did offer to send someone out to rectify the situation. It was 8/9PM and I didn’t know how long it would take someone to get up the mountain. We wanted to begin our stay to begin and get comfortable so we decided to clean everything up ourselves. Carolina Cabins also provided $100+ tax as a refund which seemed very minimal after spending over $2000. They assured me this wasn’t their norm and that this would be a learning experience for their cleaning staff. With everything that was seen, it appeared that house hasn’t been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. That’s very disheartening since with Covid, you would think a more thorough cleaning would be done. Also many light bulbs were blown out around the house. The telescope didn’t have the proper batteries to work and the light fluid bottle for the fire pit was empty. Also beware one of the doors is broken and it was extremely difficult to lock. My family and I still had a great time and are planning on making this a yearly trip! Unfortunately we will not stay here again. I also don’t recommend staying here due to how dirty it was. Carolina Cabin Rentals provided top notch professional service. We found everything as advertised. Communications were excellent throughout the entire process. Thank you for helping to make our vacation a special time. The Blue Ridge Mountain Club (Mitchell 101) was first class and a little slice of heaven.

This was a fabulous place for family gatherings. Every need was anticipated in this cabin- plenty of outlets, lighting, etc., and the views are amazing!! This cabin would be a great place for family gatherings for the holidays- so comfortable and homey!

We stayed at the Escape Cabin. Though we had a wonderful time and found it very soothing and relaxing watching the deer and squirrels and how close it was to Boone itself and the surrounding towns, I would say the only down fall on this particular rental was, it had no closets. Only a few hooks behind the doors, no where hang our clothes up or to store our luggage, so a bit cramped. Don't get me wrong, its a great place to escape and I will certainly consider it again.

The cabin, The Glowing view, was a gorgeous cabin. All the up to date amenities made the stay feel like home. I will be renting with Carolina Cabin Rentals again.

I have for years rented with Carolina cabin. Already booked for 2021. Staff is always a pleasure to deal with. Would never rent from anyone else.

Great stay. Had small issue with fireplace that was fixed within 2 hours of calling. Everything else was outstanding!

Clean and beautiful. Every aspect “as advertised”

We were very happy with the accommodations. The house was well equipped, the beds were very comfortable. The view from the deck was spectacular. Was a bit disappointed that the golf course had just closed for the season, but we thoroughly enjoyed watching all the deer roaming the golf course. I would highly recommend this house.

Carolina Cabin Rentals was an excellent getaway facility. The staff were professional and readily available. The cabin was exceptionally clean, bright, located in a marvelous area and easily accessible. I would rent from them again tomorrow.

I have utilized Carolina Cabin Rentals twice - a two family cabin near Bryson City and a large four family lodge in Jefferson. Both experiences were outstanding. These facilities are impeccably maintained, provided with all the amenities one could need, and reasonably priced. I look forward to another stay.

It was absolutely amazing!

The house was spotless and absolutely amazing views. Has everything you need and more to stay entertained for a weekend getaway!

So convenient! No checkin desk process and felt like we had a home away from home.

Everything was amazing! House was just as described the only issue we had was trying to get in the house. Took us about 10 mins to get a new unlock code that worked but such a small thing for such an amazing trip!

We rented through Carolina Cabin online and it was very easy. The house we rented was just what we saw on the site. We arrived and the house was clean and ready for us to enjoy our vacation. I would definitely rent through them again.
