    BEWARE OF CAR GIANT AT ALL COSTS. please all of those given negative comments i am happy to come together and take this further, this is ridiculous. I purchased the Mercedes EQC Reg - on the 19th October, details of logged emails from the date of the purchase to all the faults called to complaint about the faults 1st report - 13th November 2024 Fault Noise as car drives 2nd report - 11th Feb 2025 Fault Dashboard showed an error sign 3rd Report 19th April 2025 Fault - Car moves and stops , moves and stops I purchased my vehicle in October 2024. While I was fully aware that it was a second-hand car, one of the main reasons I chose to buy from Car Giant—as I have done in the past—instead of a private seller, was the confidence and assurance your company provides regarding vehicle history and reliability. I expected that I was purchasing a car with no major faults and one that could be driven reliably for at least a few years. Unfortunately, this has not been the case. Shortly after purchase, I began to notice a strange noise while driving. I contacted Car Giant, and the vehicle was taken to Mercedes for diagnosis and repair. A few weeks later, I received the car back. However, not long after this, an error message appeared on the dashboard. Once again, I reported the issue, and the vehicle was sent to Mercedes and, I was told, repaired. Approximately a month after that second repair, while driving, the car began to stop intermittently. I could barely drive any distance without the vehicle cutting out. I reported the issue to Car Giant again and was advised to contact Mercedes directly to arrange for the car to be taken in. I was extremely disappointed to learn that I had to pay out of pocket to have the car towed to Mercedes. To add to my frustration, the customer service representative I spoke to at Car Giant was dismissive and rude, repeatedly insisting that the issue had nothing to do with Car Giant and that I was solely responsible for getting a software update, as advised by Mercedes. I fail to understand how a software issue could cause the car to completely shut down while driving. Nonetheless, I just wanted the issue resolved. Mercedes eventually informed me the software update had been completed and that the vehicle was ready for collection. However, when I went to pick it up and attempted to drive it away, the car stopped again—before I had even left their premises. Given the repeated issues and the significant inconvenience and distress this has caused, I have already requested—and I continue to insist on—a return and refund for this vehicle. I have not had any peace of mind or enjoyment from this car since the day I purchased it. It has spent more time in repair than on the road. I am no longer comfortable owning a car that has had so many faults from the outset, and I am particularly concerned about the potential costs and risks once the warranty period ends. And now barely 6 months car giant is trying to wash their hands off i am now calling car giant and they are telling me they cant take it further, i have barely got to enjoy this car only bought it Oct and since then it has being in and out in the mercedes garage and it will be there for weeks, so to be honest i have not even gotten to really drive this car. one problem after another. and now car giant being rude about it is not willing to help. how can you buy a car between 6 months and 1 fault after another . and now the car that will not start is right now in the mercedes workshop and cargiant refusing to do anything about it i am afraid that if i take responsibility it will cost me thousands a car i have barely gotten to drive. How is this fair. i would have taken my chances and bought a private sale and known that the responsibility is mine. but i trusted CAR giant.. Anyone reading please advice me who can i take to. i am writing to the Ombudsman but i need to take this further. so if anyone can tell me who to reach out to , i will also find out about lawyers. because this is ridiculous.

    I recently purchased a Tesla Model 3 from Car Giant and had one of the best buying experiences ever. From the moment we walked into the sales Reception area, my son and I were warmly greeted by Mohammed in a professional manner. Mohammed was fantastic, just honest answers and very knowledgeable. Mohammed really took the time to understand what I was looking for and made sure that I was comfortable throughout the process. The paperwork process was smooth and efficient, and the car was ready for pickup before the scheduled time which was a bonus Overall, I couldn’t be happier. If you're in the market for a new or used vehicle, I highly recommend Car Giant. They truly made buying a car feel easy and enjoyable

    AVOID - FRAUDULANT WARRANTY SERVICE

    I purchased a Nissan X-Trail from Car Giant in late 2023. I purchased a 3 year warranty with the car. The gear box failed and needs replacing - the aftersales is a NIGHTMARE. They have just rejected my warranty claim saying that the gearbox can fail because of wear and tear so I am having to pay £7000 out of my own pocket. If it is wear and tear, then Car Giant have sold me a faulty car, and I will be taking them to court and reporting them for fraud to the financial ombudmon Beyond this, they have approved warranty garages that you can use. If these cannot complete the repair, as in this case, you can go to the manufacturer so I went to Nissan. Then they will think of other things to do before you can proceed. I've gone back and forth for several weeks, and escalated in the last week. They only cover £42 per hour of the repair as well so you will also be out of pocket by about £100 an hour on top of the repair if you are covered!! If you're buying an expensive car, and want a warranty with it to cover the unexpected, 1000000% go direct to the brand dealer and get a warranty through them. Worth any extra you’re paying, or should the car give problems, you will be massively out of pocket. Not happy with this disaster. Not the headache you want when your car acts up (which can happen anywhere etc but the complaint isn't about the car gearbox breaking). You'd be silly to trust this company. In fact customer services is outright ignoring my emails! I am dealing with the third party warranty provider who have rejected the claim and Car Giant are NOWHERE to be seen or heard?! ?! They will be when they are sued. UPDATE: They have noted below to show that they take all claims seriously. Reality - they do not and you're stuck. Good luck to anyone that buys a car from them and then faces issues.

    Giant Promises, Giant Disappointment

    The tag line should be Giant LOSSES instead of giant savings. I bought a kia niro ev on 10th may 2025, The car was fine when i did the test drive but broke down after exiting their compound. Waited full day there and they couldnt fix it. They said the need to take the car to dealer and the date they have is 17th of june. So i was stuck with them since they have my money . My insurance increased to 500£ since i changed the car and when i changed back to my old car they didnt reduce the price. So i lost my money, my time and my peace. They were not willing to compensate not even 1£ for my loses. Change the tag line GIANT CAR GIANT LOSSES ! Forgot to add the sales man stephen(the bald guy) didnt know anything about EV, He doesnt even know what is a CCS charger. Most of the questions were answered like"we dont know or we cant do that".

    Great value cars without the frills

    Car Giant has served us well for three excellent cars. The prices are competitive and customer service is excellent. If you are very clear about the car you want, check service history,and do not need part exchange, finance, warranty and ‘Supaguard’ paint protection the cars are good value and the buying process easy.

    AVOID AT ALL COSTS

    I have had a shocking time dealing with cargiant, was sold a car that was not fit for purpose, and was 100% not safe to be on the road! Less than 24 hours of ownership I noticed so much wrong with the car, that I could not notice on the “test drive” as the most you can drive is 20mph! The car had no power, the brakes were awful, the vehicle was shaking badly during braking. Took the car to the garage and 2.5k worth of repairs needed on the car, car giant refused to repair the issues, and wanted me to continue driving the car. At the safety risk of myself and other people! I highly advice if your considering buying a car from these, try buy from somewhere else! Awful experience
