Please note they are based in Germany not in Ireland. This creates a lot of problems.

As regards my order and delivery I can't complain. Everything worked out fine. Item (a wire connection for headlight of my VW Touareg) was original and worked perfectly. Delivery arrived even one day earlier than announced, although over easter holidays. Price was fair. Only delivery costs together with customs charges which where not mentioned before increased the total amount considerably. Therefore one star less. But nevertheless recommendable and trustworthy.

Was not expecting a good outcome after I read these reviews. I paid a ridiculous shipping price and it took a week to arrive, but my order was perfect. Not giving 5 stars because when you pay that much for shipping, you should get it sooner.
Please judge this yourself: A friend asked me to order a car part for him. He has heard of computers but has never seen one. He is a farmer type person. So I found the part on car-parts.ie alias autodoc. The price was okay but, for some undisclosed and some unfathomable reason the delivery charges are the highest in Europe!! Despite this I ordered the part. This is one of those sites where you have to open an account. I hate that. Realy. So I gave my friends address and an old email account of mine that I had not used for a while. Unfortunately, I misspelled it. After completing the sale I realised my error and mailed the seller, via the contact us link on car-parts site. and got this reply: IDear customer, We hope you are well. We'd love to help you change your email address on your account. To do this, could you provide us with the order number and the correct email address, please? Also, you can change your email address by logging into your AUTODOC account and going to Settings. If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact us. Wishing you a great day. Sincerely, The AUTODOC Team. wrote: email was incorrect. have corrected email on this form. I replied as below. > email was incorrect. I have corrected email on this form. Given that they had used the corrected email and thus, I had received it, I assumed it was done. Eh no. Nothing nada. So I sent this: Reader please note: for somewhat obvious reasons I have removed some data and replaced it with the word omitted. Please be advised that, on purchasing order ref:omitted I miss typed the email address as omitted. The correct email is this one, the one you sent this note to. the correct email is: omitted I do not recollect what password I used and I cannot check the progress, of this order, as your note suggests, via your net site. I made this purchase on behalf a a neighbor called omitted and it is his name on the delivery address. Kindly advise the status of the delivery please. Peter I got this: Hi Peter! Thank you for contacting our customer support. We would like to inform you that due to the GDPR law, we can not provide information to third parties. Inform the owner of the order to contact us by phone. If you have any other questions, please contact us. We wish you a nice day and all the best. Just to recap a moment here. I made the purchase online. I paid for the item online. I am the customer. It does not matter if I am sending to an address other than mine. And by the way they have no telephone number listed on their site. The result of this crap is I have been told, I assume by some brainless automated system, that I cannot be informed of the status of my order or when it may or may not be delivered as it breaks GDPR law. Incidentally it does not. This organization is either owned by fools or just employs them. I tried contacting them again and got the same auto reply. Incorrectly making the false claim that. one: I am not the customer. Two: that the delivery date is protected by GDPR restrictions. My best advice. If you possibly can, buy someplace else. At the time of writing this I have not heard anything further. As, this site is for truth telling. The day after writing I was sent a tracking number.
I got the correct Febi parts for my BMW but the delivery should be a lot quicker for the price. They use DPD now instead of DHL which is the reason for only 3 stars.
Do NOT use this company, the company behind this website is Autodoc. You will most likely be sent wrong, defective or cheaper alternative to what you ordered. Customer service is non existent and a refund process is an absolute nightmare and YOU have to pay for return shipping even it's their fault. Also please note they are based in Germany not in Ireland
IF I CAN I GONNA GIVE THEM MENUS STARS! I BOUGHT COFFEE MACHINE WHICH IS DEFECTIVE AND THEY DON'T WANT TO DO REFUND! IT'S JUST DIDN'T heats up THE WATER! RUBBISH! GOOD PEOPLE..DON'T BUY FROM THIS SELLER..IT IS FRAUD!
Ordered a sensor , chose exactly which one and the brand that i need (was marked as in stock) The cowboys sent me a different branded sensor ( a cheaper than the one i ordered) without me asking if i need the alternative) and the cowboys charged me for the more expensive one which i ordered originally . Stay away from them, look for a honest client oriented and reliable distributor. Should have red the reviews before ordering from them. Unexpectedly terrible service by the Germans.
Good job finally done
As others have said, same company as autodoc, and yes shipping is slow and expensive to Ireland. However I was able to source all parts required for a full brake system rebuild on a 43 yr old landcruiser, where all of the usual suspects did not have the parts required. It would have been an easy order to get wrong, but everything ordered arrived and fitted the vehicle, very happy with the service.
They say next day delivery then use DPD who couldn't deliver a chip to a seagull on Brighton Beach. So I am left waiting for days for a part promised tomorrow Waste of time
If you paid for good part brand you get it replaced with cheaper btand. No refund of price difference. Dont return items at your postage expenses, becaude you dont get any refund. Never again to do business with carparts.ie. / Autodoc.ie / Winparts.ie The same company. Negative.
Keeping me on top of parts did order and would increase my earnings with new pod needed Exelantie
Terrible store! They cheat their customers. We ordered two parts for the car, but they sent us only one! After all the delivery times that came out, I wrote to the support service, but they always asked me for proof, they asked me the order number a hundred times. In the end, no details, no money. They offered a 15€ discount, but the part cost 40€. That is, in their opinion, I should order again to do, pay for it and hope that they do not deceive me again. I will never recommend this store to anyone. Fraudsters.
Used this company a couple of times and find them excellent. Top brand aftermarket parts for about 25% cheaper than motor factors in Ireland. One one occasion a brake vacuum pump failed after 6 months and I received refund straight away. Delivery to Ireland is 10 days but I'm happy enough with that. If you can build your order up to €140 to qualify for free postage they are outstanding value.
I find this company great to deal with, the problem with most people is that they do not check that their ordered parts are compatible with their car, this is not the company's fault,a tip when ordering ,send them the OEM number off your parts and if you dont have the OEM number send them your VIN number off your car and they will show you your choice off compatible parts to buy. my delivery was 2 days after I confirmed my order, definitely will be using this company again
Ordered 3 separate parts for my car. Put the car registration to ensure compatibility but only 1part fitted my car. After complaining they admitted that they cannot guarantee the parts will fit as this service is operated by a support company. It’s not worth returning the parts as the refund would be less than the cost of returning the parts. The company isn’t Irish despite the .ie on their domain they’re based in Berlin. Do not have any dealings with these charlatans is my advice!
Made the payments. The parts are available in stock. But when we are talking for the dispatch procces is taking forever. Guys if you received the money then you should do your job as required.
Great experience, carparts.ie, which is actually AUTODOC, offers the best car parts and maintenance items for almost two-thirds the price of the UK market (I saved around £100 on my first order). I ordered five items first and forgot to add three more items, contacted them by email to avoid double shipping costs; they simply add the items to the completed order and sent them all in one shipment, which only took three working days; the packaging was great too. I would definitely order again and recommend it to everyone, especially my friends. A negative point is the use of PayPal in the ordering process; carparts.ie sells in EURO and money must be exchanged for Sterling; the PayPal exchange rate is the highest and not fair. PayPal added £12 more to my order than if I had placed it with just my debit card, but that's PayPal and not carparts.ie's fault!

Car Parts receives a mixed reception from customers, with many expressing frustration over order fulfillment and customer service. Several customers mention that they ordered multiple items but only received a fraction of what they paid for, leading to dissatisfaction. Additionally, the shipping process is criticized for being slow and costly, particularly for deliveries to Ireland. Despite a few positive experiences highlighting good service and successful orders, the overall sentiment leans negative due to the prevalence of complaints about order accuracy and customer support.
