Builders Warehouse Reviews

Worst experience of my life and I’m in my sixties. They have no respect once they have your money What an experience after spending 6k They wanted a further $180 delivery when their standard fee is $110 and I live Sth side of Brisbane. I have just been there this morning to pick my items up the bath was put upside down on my Ute cartons were ripped. The service stops once they have the cash and then tell you they don’t have in stock. The warehouse staff are as rude as you get told to f@&&k off by their staff member while loading. He should be sacked.how dare he speak to customers like that but I guess this company allows it going by the attitude in the place. I previously wrote to builders warehouse with no reply at all. I will never shop there again and still have my ensuite and kitchen to do in the next few weeks. One things for sure they won’t get another cent off me.

One star as there is no zero stars….. we reacted to a product on internet. We decided to buy this inverter generator, as it was a good price. When we get to the shop (as it was not a available in store) we where told the they would order it. The next week we were told that this item was discontinued two years ago…. Yet the still advertise it. Then I asked for similar or better item for similar or better price, is was told that they will “make it happen”. Sadly the next week I was told to add another R3000 for a similar product…. I went to the store on numerous occasions only to find that nobody in the store had any idea how to treat customers or how to resolve a dispute. On one occasion i spoke to “a” or “the”. Manager and even he could not give me any answer. This is not only Paarl, bur i have visited Cape Gate as well and their customer services SUCK as well…. Maybe re design your concept…..

They need to get more cashier

I purchased a gas hob from builders tokai branch. Paid a contractor R1600 to cut the counter top to size, install and issue a coc certificate. The unit was faulty. They refunded the money after we had to deal with there supplier. We bought a unit elsewhere and paid a contractor again with no support from Builder's. Good bye Builder's 👋

I bought a Luximo design wall mount Eden basin online on the 29th of November 2023. Since today I haven't received it, I'm the one who is doing follow-up. They told me that the supplier was closed during December, but now its February , but it has not been delivered . I won't recommend Builders warehouse to anyone bad service.

I bought a mirror online on 16 September 2023 (Order Number: 2020891042) I was then informed by Builder's Warehouse that they had to cancel the order as the one item they had in stock was damaged. They told me that they would refund me as a result. 2 MONTHS LATER, I HAVE STILL NOT BEEN REFUNDED! I have sent them numerous emails relating to this without success. The service has been nothing short of pathetic. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM BUILDER'S WAREHOUSE AGAIN!

A refund of R143 was owing but Builders after not delivering the item at all decided to not refund the delivery charge and makes it obvious that the customer doesn't come first. R143 was promised initially but when I persisted they refund me they changed their mind and gave me only the item refund and kept the R43 delivery charge for themselves in spite of me being a Pensioner and retiring early due to Covid demands and no delivery

A great place. I think I'll contact builders as I dont think they are aware of this profile and cant vet the reviews legitimacy. I think its a great place, people are friendly and always see not help around. They try hard and it's a great place all round.

Recently I have had the pleasure of dealing with Ashwin Hendriks from the Paarl outlet again, this knowledgeable man really goes out of his way to assist in his very friendly manner. Please keep it up Ashwin!

Jason and Amy took the time to assist me with every aspect of my purchase and delivery. As a new house-owner, working on my first major projects, Amy answered all my questions and helped alleviate any concerns regarding ordering and cross-country shipping. Jason managed the shipping process and the vendors to ensure my product arrived as discussed and in good condition. Jason even went above and beyond, taking personal responsility for the shippers miscommunication. I would definitely trust Builders Warehouse and their team for future needs.

Worst customer service , products that don’t work, unsafe premises. Avoid specifically Builder’s Warehouse Rivonia. They’ve sold me gas canisters that do not work and I’ve had to go back several times to complain. When you arrive at the contractors site some of the service guys all flock around your car. Unfortunately today I went in to complain about a gas canister again and this time I ended up forgetting to lock my car. According to the footage that Jacques (Management) viewed a men opened my car and stole my bag. He refused to show me the footage because of Pop act (whatever?!). Anyway , how did the thieves know that my car was unlocked - most probably because they work with the men who work just outside the shop on the Builders warehouse premises. As soon as you park they flock around your car under the pretence of helping and try and distract you then signal to the men who have a getaway car close by. Don’t go there! I regret my fuel that I used to drive there to complain about a malfunctioning canister and then losing my entire handbag to thugs. Management doesn’t care - how do I even know that’s what really happened if they didn’t show me the video. Horrible place, horrible products, horrible security. I will never set my foot there again! It just ended in tears for me… Someone saw something but they were working together!!!

I paid $226 for one day shipping on a $132 order on Aug. 28 and it’s now Sept. 9. I’ve called them and emailed them multiple times and they aren’t responding to me. I have no way of knowing what’s going on so I’m left to assume this company is a scam and took my money. This order is for building materials that I needed for a job.
