I purchased a pair of Brooks shoes

I purchased a pair of Brooks shoes. They felt ok at the store. I did a walk around my street, and my feet hurt too much. They wont refund me because it was a discount item, so I am screwed If their shoes are so amazing, how come I can't use them. First time at the store, last time I ever walked in. I will tell as many people as I know about the questionable practice. So much for lack of customer service and the lack of customer satisfaction. If I could, I would give no starts.

Low stocks. Cash flow issues?

Browns seems to be suffering from low stocks. The store did not have mi size (10) in black same for an alternative model. I ordered (had to pay in advance!). Next day, I received an email to the effect that the product had shipped. A week later I received another email indicating that the product had to be ordered from elsewhere. Sounds like cash flow issues to me. I will go ask for a refund tomorrow.

Zero customer service & 💩 quality

Horrible quality I have a pair of boots that I love aesthetically from the wishbone collection. The metal they use on the shoes are not effective for normal wear and tear which they claim in defense of any issue. They do not honor any type of warranty or issues with the shoe.

The shoes that I received had scuffs…

The shoes that I received had scuffs and looked like the pair displayed at the store for people to try on. The inside already had black fiber that came from the socks of the person who tried them on. So disappointed. I will give no stars if that was possible.

You totally profiled me at pacific…

You totally profiled me at pacific center the employee called a security guard over why? Because I was looking at a pair of shoes! So yeah I walked out went to guest services filed a complaint and then turned and told the employee as a consequence of his actions he lost a sale. Now I’ll go to your competitor soft moc and buy my shoes. Then I’ll go back and show them what they missed out on. You don’t even deserve one lousy star if I could I’d give you negative 5 stars. That’s the first and one of last times I’ll ever set foot in one of your stores. You treat people like garbage then you get garbage reviews. Which by the way is 100% accurate and I am not lying nor embellishing my account of what happened so you can’t say I’m defaming or slandering you. Too bad so sad, I’ll take my hard earned money elsewhere. And it’s been two weeks since I posted on multiple sites not once have you bothered to answer my posts with an apology! I wouldn’t spend a penny of my money in your stores for all the tea in china! Don’t bother answering anyways because we know you don’t care. So yeah I won’t ever bother shopping in your stores ever again! I would not recommend browns shoes for purchasing items I’ll gladly buy them elsewhere! And they never bothered to apologize either so yeah forget you. In fact you don’t don’t even deserve one star but trust pilot doesn’t allow me to give zero stars so you earned that lousy one star review out of protest!

Great Boots!

I ordered a pair of boots and there was an issue with them. The sent them back and it was an easy process. They sent me a new pair and they were perfect. I will order again as it was a pleasant experience and the boots are just what I wanted!

Friendly & Efficient Service

I had a great experience at Browns Shoes, thanks to the cashier Yara. She was friendly, efficient, and made the checkout process smooth and pleasant. Her warm attitude and professionalism added a personal touch to my shopping experience. It’s always nice to be greeted with a smile, and she definitely made my visit better. Hello , I writing because the shoes that I ordered on Feb 9th did not come , the date that they were supposed to come was Feb 13-14 , but they didn’t come , I don’t think that it’s hard to inform me that my order is not coming , I’ve been waiting for my order , and I’m really upset by you not informing me .

Misleading advertisement online!!!😡

Misleading advertisement online!!!😡 I wasted my time coming to the store 😡. . Advertised Michael Kors 30% off. My shoes that I bought 3 days was included . When I went to cashier for price adjustment she told me that my shoes was not on discount…I showed her the online advertisement on my phone showing the picture of my shoes.. she told me that others colors are on discount but not the black shoes that was advertised… I’m so mad😡 they should have shown the colors of the shoes on discount in the first place! Rather that putting another color that WAS NOT on discount!!!😡😡😡

My pair is crispy clean

My pair is crispy clean! No scuffs.(Unlike the ones I purchased from the actual company that makes these.) I received them within 48 hrs tops! The box was sitting at my doorstep while I was looking for Blackfriday deals online. I saw a store who had an other model priced 10$ lower than Browns. Decided to check their Google reviews which weren’t good. So i decided to check the reviews for browns and saw some negative ones. I proceeded to quickly open up the package and take a look….How satisfy I was when I seen no marks/scuffs on the Nubuck. So clean. Thanks to the team at Browns! I will definitely do business with You in the near future. Note: I personally wouldn’t count on or even believe some of these reviews. I saw one who was nagging about Paladiums being ‘Not waterproof’. That’s Palladium’s fault not browns? Lol I’m also the type to believe some of the negative reviews are from competitors. Either way, I’m really happy with my transaction.

10/10 service and delivery

10/10 service and delivery. Bought some Doc Martens and they we beautfilly packaged and came super fast [2 days]. No issues or defects with the product. Overall great shoe and perfect service.

Wonderful customer service

Very happy that Browns reopened at Bloor Street W, Toronto. Angelica Pangan provided great customer service. She was very attentive and she does know the store’s inventory. Over all I had a good experience. Highly recommended location. Staff are helpful.

Excellent professional knowledge

I was lucky to fall on Mark at Browns at Bayshore Mall yesterday. He was polite, and quickly assessed my needs. His in-depth knowldege of products offered at the store significantly shortened the time of my visit on a day that presented extremely busy. I was grateful for that.

The experience at the store was great. There was true work ethic in the process of purchasing a new pair of shoes. They really helped me through the process of finding the right shoe for me. In the end, they went out of their way to help find the right shoe for me and it turned out great.

I bought a pair of dress leather shoes

I bought a pair of dress leather shoes. The brand is Browns. The heel is dark brown and the sole is light beige. After wearing one week, the dark brown heel “ paint” came off exposing the light sole beige. A painted heel!! Unbelievable. Not a cheap pair of shoes. Around CDN200.

Very satisfied

Marcus at Limeridge was very helpful. Explained the benefits and how to compare so we had a good fit. Made sure we had sizes to try and paid attention to what we wanted. Thank you! We went to a number of stores and there is a general lack of customer service and salesmanship. That was not the case today at this store

Poor Customer Service and resolution

Another voice message from Fed Ex asking for the shipment to be picked up when they declined us picking it up as we didn't have a Govt Id with the same address. So we did go there as requested and they know that we cannot pick up and we have asked them to ship back to Brown's store but still holding on the item from July 24, 2024. Notice that their message mentions that they will hold on the item for FIVE days (screenshot below), so not sure why they are still calling me and not sending back to Brown. I called them back again today and have an automatic machine which had the option of 'sending back to the shipper' but was declined as I'm NOT the shipper. On Brown's store side, I called on July 24th and told them that the pick up would be a problem and that I wanted to cancel the order. That was not possible on the store side, so we tried going to Fed Ex which as I anticipated didn't work (as mentioned) above. Waited 5 days (per Fed Ex notification) for the item to be sent back to Brown so that they can cancel and refund but that didn't happen. So I emailed and called back last week and was told the same thing as my first call, can't do anything will have to wait for the shipment to come back for us to cancel. I reiterated that I did go to FedEx as instructed and was declined and requested that Brown call them and ask them to ship back to the store so they can do the refund. I was told to wait for ten days, not sure why it's 10 days when Fed Ex message states 5 days ? I was told its 10 not 5, so not sure where is the disconnect. Yesterday was the 10th day and Fed Ex is calling me again today and they only have automatic machine. I feel stuck and my daughter's birthday surprise is ruined and my money is stuck with Brown and have no idea when this refund will happen. I was also told that after the refund is processed, it might take another 10 days to hit my credit card which is surprising as whenever there's a refund it's instantaneous. But at this point I don't even know what needs happen for me to even get that refund. Give me my money back please. Thank you
