OMG, I absolutely hate to be taken advantage of! I ordered for the first time - and it will be the last. This company is so convoluted with their pricing communication, it's unbelievable. This is the exact wording of their email:
"Note that on your credit card statement you will receive a charge of $26.03 plus tip from Tommys Pizza Too in addition to a separate charge of $4.50 ($4.50 service fee - $0.00 discount) from BMT*Tommys Pizza Too for our service fee minus your discount."
One long, rambling confusing sentence. And why did they say "plus tip?" I did not "receive a charge" for the tip. I tipped the driver separately in cash.
But here's what is making me so mad. They listed my Veal Parm on the BMT website as costing $11.99. I was charged $17.99! I just went onto the restaurant's website and it is, indeed, listed for $17.99. This means that Bring Me That is advertising prices that are much lower, then charging you more than what you're expecting.
I looked at 3 or 4 different entrees, comparing the restaurant's prices with BringMeThat's prices - and the arithmetic was the same every time. BMT is listing incorrect, lower prices, I guess to get people to order. This is so wrong and sleazy, it infuriates me. HOW does a company operate like that? Needless to say, I'll never use BMT again. So a word of advice. Go on the restaurant's website directly to get the real price you'll be charged.
I am just one person who ordered one dinner. But imagine if it was a group, ordering 5 or 6 different entrees. If BMT made $5 on each one, that's $30 more for them, in addition to the other fees they charge. What a total scam. Shame on you, Bring Me That. Sleazy business infuriates me.
Plus, the restaurant is literally 2 miles away and the delivery took 1 hour and 10 minutes. It was NOT prime time, I ordered at 8:30 PM.
Never, ever again, Bring Me That. Didn't your parents teach you right from wrong?
