Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals Reviews

Couples mountain weekend ! We had a great time. Hot tub was a bonus. View at the cabin is so beautiful. Easy drive to Boone or Blowing Rock. Host was great and provided all details for checking in and checking out. Cabin is adorable! We can’t wait to return.

BRMR was amazing from the beginning to the end. Fast and easy communication we had such a wonderful time! Highly recommend.

Excellent property!! Location, cleanliness, accommodations fit our needs perfectly. Loved seeing the deer and other wildlife at all times of the day/night. Didn’t really get to enjoy the porch bc of the weather, but it was beautiful. Also, our two dogs were easily accommodated, which made it nice for us.

It was a great mountain cabin experience.

There was an Internet issue the day before we arrived. The office called to notify us, and the ladies were instrumental in getting the company out to repair it before our arrival. The house was clean, and the starter packs in the bathrooms and kitchen were much appreciated. We had a wonderful stay- what a beautiful location! The cabin was close to Blowing Rock and Boone. We traveled to both towns several times. Would stay again!

This home is amazing. The beds were so comfortable. The property is amazing. We had the GREATEST weekend. Thank you!

We rented the house for a week, and we enjoyed every bit of it. The house was clean, spacious and prepped and furnished with all you need. Everything worked well and we greatly recommend this place if you want to ski, explore the area or simply relax anytime of the year.

The home was beautiful, clean and had all of the amenities to enjoy a peaceful. We appreciated how family oriented the space was and how convenient the process of booking was. Also the granola gift was so yummy!

We’ve used Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals exclusively since 2015 and have always been happy with their service. We typically book twice a year. Response times are fantastic and we’ve always received prompt & professional service. The only cabin rental company we’ll use in the High Country.

Pros and Cons Pros - Cabin was big, spacious, and had a lot of fun games (i.e. pool and ping pong). - Absolutely loved the deck and hot tub area! - Climate control was responsive and efficient, we've been to some houses where it takes forever to heat up/cool down - Location is perfect between Boone and Blowing Rock - Everyone we spoke to at Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals were incredible helpful, nice and pleasant. We will come back for future rentals just for our experience with the personnel. Cons - I wouldn't expect it to be thoroghly cleaned after every stay, but there was a large amount of dust on the walls in the master bath (especially the toilet area), indicating it and other spots hadn't been touched in a while - The water pressure in the kitchen sink was abysmal, not sure what had happened to it. - The front door doesn't latch so it gets blown open by wind unless the deadbolt is set

Great location! Fully equipped home! Very welcoming and plenty of space for 21 people.

We have rented cabins 3 times from Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals, and we have been very happy with the overall experience. All 3 properties have been very well maintained and are exceptionally clean. The communication has been great with the company. We no longer look at VRBO when we want to go to NC mountains because the pricing and overall experience has been much better with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals

As advertised

The cabin was so nice. It was in a good location to downtown. The driveway was too steep even with a AWD. Thank you.

Little to no heat downstairs, Screw sticking out on downstairs bedroom doorknob caused a cut, Downstairs carpet not vacuumed rubber bands from hair ties everywhere, dishwasher doesn't dry the dishes, Ice maker cutoff doesn't work leaving ice everywhere inside the freezer, washing machine not working, ladybug infestation in main floor near balcony doors, mold under glass top on dining table, Pets were finding food debris in numerous areas in kitchen and living area as well as under dining table, Hair on shower walls in master bath( not ours) and upstairs shower, first phone number on printed instructions for assistance was a random male not associated with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals, After hours number had the same recording as the business office number, left message and got a return call saying they would relay our message, no one returned our call, We arrived Friday and placed our calls and a gentleman showed up Sunday without calling while the children were taking their naps. He acknowledged the problems and said someone would call us Monday. We checked out Wednesday morning and never received a call. My wife mopped the mud from the Kitchen floor on Friday night and we swept up all the food debris we could find. The flapper in the master bath sticks open and the toilet periodically ran until you removed the top and physically seated the flapper. The deck gates were broken and would not close with one gate completely off. The morning sun highlighted the cob webs on the ceiling light fixtures. The shuffleboard is held together with ratchet straps and the Foosball table is broken on one end. The light on the microwave is out so no light for the stovetop while cooking. The dishwasher didn't clean the dishes well and some had to be hand washed. There was pink Goo on the bannister going to the third floor. How would you rate your service??

Great Spring Break getaway in Banner Elk! Home was just as described on VRBO. Location was perfect with day trips to Linville Falls, Boone, Blowing Rock, and Valle Crucis. Walking distance for everything in and around Banner Elk. Very clean and well stocked with attentive and helpful staff at Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals! We will definitely be renting from them again!

Such a great time in this cabin. Was so wonderful we could bring our family and or dogs! Putting this cabin on our to go again list!

CSR’s were friendly and tried to help but no follow ups were ever received. We had no power after the storm last weekend and water pressure was very low. The cabin book gave a number to call for power outage but they required a phone number to report outage which we did not have. I called BRMR three times simply asking for a ETA for power to be restored so we could make a decision on staying or leaving early. Power was out 24 hours. Never received a call back at all. Right after my third call I called BRMR to report power was on. Cabin had no emergency lighting at all and the pots and pans are in great need of replacement and were even dirty.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at River Ridge! This was our second time staying at this cabin and we would stay here again. The cabin is comfortable and the hot tub in the deck was relaxing. Highly recommend!

Awesome staff, very communicative and our rental was spectacular. We will definitely rent from this company again. Thank you!
