Poor quality

Purchased a coffee table and when it arrived the quality was not as expected, also it did not match the description on the internet. I went through the returns process which was just pure hassle. I asked for a refund they offered me money off, I said no a refund please, they offered more money off. I said no a refund please in the end I received a refund but it was hassle. I have knocked off 2 stars for quality and description and 1 star because it took 2 days and 3 emails for the refund also the fact you have to e mail as there is no phone number.

I contacted berkfield as the item was too large and they initially offered a discounted refund and to keep the item. I said the item was not suitable at all so they kindly gave me a full refund and to keep the item anyway.

I needed to return the product which wasn't straightforward since I bought it from Tesco website. However, when I finally got in touch with them, they immediately refunded it.

Could have been better

I requested to return an item that I had ordered online in error. I was entitled to a full refund. They initially offered me ‘a one time offer’ of a 25% discount and to keep the item. I refused this and requested a full refund as per my statutory rights, and for the item to be returned. They then offered me 50% refund and to keep the item. I repeated that the item was of no use to me and that I wanted a full refund and for return of the item to be arranged. I have now received full refund, but have not been contacted to have the item returned.

The shelves were faulty

The shelves were faulty - holes in the wrong places for the hinges and the edge holes not big enough for any wall fixing I asked for a refund and they wanted to send me another set so I said yes as long as they had been quality checked. Another set arrived- the same and then I had to argue for a full refund. First they wanted to give me 25%!! I eventually got a full refund Don’t buy
