3 years of renting through Beal’s and the whole experience was just awful.
Someone from the Eastleigh branch hasn’t even responded to my last two emails about collecting post from our previous address - backs up our theory of them being happy to take our money but completely disinterested when we need to contact them.
The maintenance team (one in particular) was also horrid to deal with - we had ongoing damp and mould issues and she couldn’t have cared less.
We have been reporting issues with progressive damp and mould for 2 years and absolutely nothing has been done (partly due to the landlord) however we would repeatedly send photos and emails. I was even told one time that the lady had forgotten to log the report despite knowing we have young children. It was so bad that I had to email a complaint over.
Two days later we received a tenancy termination letter through the post (delivered by someone from Beal’s).
I then called and he acted like he knew nothing about it but assured us that he would let us know of any properties that had become available - haven’t heard from him since, not even to check up on the post tenancy documents/checklists!
Absolute shambles of a company.
We put the house on the market last May just before alot of economic uncertainty. Over the next 7 months we accepted 5 different offers that fell through for varying reasons. Olly, Charles and the team were very good at keeping interest going in the property and keeping us informed. Finally completed in March- process helped by sales progressor- Katie - who was very helpful with this part of the process. Thanks to all the team for helping us complete the sale finally!
I have dealt with Beals for many years for renting my properties and have always had a really good experience with both Shirley and Eastleigh branches. This time around they sold my property and the service was excellent. Katie Healy the sales progressor is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Prompt at responding and always giving an end of week update. My case was very tricky as it was leasehold however Katie managed to deal with all parties effectively which really helped matters progress swiftly. Beals are highly recommended for rental and sales. I dealt with the team at Park Gate. First point of contact was Emma who gave me the confidance to sell with them. Then Lauren who made appointments, showed the property and also gave feedback after every showing which really impressed me. When the property was sold we were passed to Katie who saw the rest of the process through with many emails and calls to all the parties concerned making sure it got to completion. Really impressed, great service would recommend Emma and her team to everyone if asked.
Beal's Oliver, Tristan, Katie (team) stuck to their task of selling our property through the whole process. Due to economic climate it was a long process. Katie particularly kept both solicitors on task.

I have been a tenant under Beals for 10 years at the same property. Up until recently my point of contact changed a lot and the service I received wasn’t the best. However I have recently had Mollie-Mae West as my contact and she has been incredibly helpful and actually seems to care about any issues I may have. Even going as far as checking in after the fact to make sure any issues have been resolved/sorted out. IMO Mollie is a great asset to Beals and I cannot state enough how good it is to have someone so dependable and reliable as a contact :)
