I cannot fault the service I received from Rachel Mack. She went that extra mile to ensure that she was able to offer me exactly what I wanted from my river cruise choice. I had many questions and requirements which she dealt with in a friendly, helpful manner whilst remaining professional at all times. It was a pleasure to deal with her, she is a credit to APT.
Very high quality fabulous cruise.
Fabulous boat, immaculately maintained, excellent ports of call, enthusiastic and informative Tour Director, plenty of food and drink, ( though served by less than enthusiastic staff, no eye contact, little rapport ). Overall, an exceptionally good trip. We would strongly recommend APT to anyone considering a small motor yacht cruise.,

Budapest to Amsterdam on river cruise ship Amareina. Staff, excursions, food, atmosphere all outstanding. Exceptional value for money.
5 🌟 great service attention to detail. Excellent excursions. No single supplement meant good value.
The person answering the phone was polite and very helpful She dealt with all my details efficiently and appeared to be very knowledgeable about the holiday I was considering. My only concern was the length of time on hold while details were confirmed.
Overall we enjoyed the trip on board the Princess Eleganza along the Croatia coast tremendously. The crew on board were very friendly, helpful and willing to engage. The food was plentiful and tasty if with some unusual combinations of ingredients. With some dinners available onboard, we also enjoyed the opportunity to dine ashore at the local restaurants. We appreciated the included house red and white wines at mealtimes but why not add a rose to the list especially as it was very hot and sunny, and in the mid 30s most of the day and mid 20s at night-time? The air conditioning did struggle to keep cabins and the dining room cool at these very high temperatures but meant that we really enjoyed our swim stops greatly and with a ship half full of Australians, we would have liked more such opportunities. Loved the smaller islands and ports but Split was rather disappointing. The cruise director, Cheri Coll, was clearly very experienced and built a great rapport with all the passengers, keeping everyone engaged. We felt very lucky to have her especially as she made sure that nobody onboard felt left out. The slight markdown is due to a couple of the included walking tours being rather tedious and rather like being on a school trip and also the rather unsatisfactory pre-cruise hotel in Dubrovnik. We were given a decent room with sea view but the food was definitely on the mediocre side. Really expensive booking the hotel through APT. We could have booked it cheaper online ourselves. We didn’t realise that the hotel complex was so massive and sadly quite a distance from the city of Dubrovnik itself so we felt obliged to eat at the hotel.
We were unhappy with the lack of information provided to the group of travellers who joined the Amsterdam to Budapest cruise at Nuremberg. We taken to a ship early in the morning but were then told that was not the ship we were joining as due to low water in a part of the river so we were joining a different ship and would be going there by coach after the tour of Nuremberg. At no time on the Vega did anyone tell us it would take 5 hours to get to this other place. After 30 minutes we left and had a whistle stop tour of Nuremberg during which we didn’t have an opportunity to get off the coach. At 11.00 am we were allowed 1 hour to explore Nuremberg but had to be back to the coach at 12.00 noon. ONLY after we set off were we informed that it would take 4.5 hours to get to the ship and actually it took 5 hours to get there. It transpired later that those who came from Amsterdam had been informed by email some time before that they would need to change ship and were provided with a packed lunch including drinks before they set off while those of us joining at Nuremberg were not informed in advance nor were we provided with food or drink for the journey. The first we were able to get something to eat was when we stopped for a break at 2.15 pm more than 7 hours after we had eaten at breakfast time. I am afraid we felt like second class citizens. This meant that after a day of travelling to get to Nuremberg we spent 7 hours in total of our first day of a RIVER CRUISE on a coach. I appreciate that the state of the river is a natural event however the lack of information and the absence of any food or drink for a 5 hour coach transfer is the responsibility of APT and is not acceptable to those of us affected. This was a very disappointing start to our cruise. I will say that the ship was excellent and the tour director did his very best to ensure we enjoyed the remainder of our cruise however missing two stops meant that we spent most of the cruise in big cities 2 days in Linz, 2 in Vienna and one and departure day in Budapest not the meander between Nuremberg and Budapest i envisaged. The riven didn’t become low in water overnight so there would have been ample time to inform those travellers affected by this and it was not done. A poor reflection on APT when there are many other companies to choose from. So far I have no response from customer services to whom I first addressed my unhappiness.
Attentive crew , great mix of other guests , approximately half from Australia & half from UK. We had one of the two suites which was comfortable & spacious. The food was cooked by the crew so was homely & tasty. The only criticism would be that a couple of the guides on the walking tours went into too much detail for some of us but some guests may have wanted this detail . We had three swim stops which were greatly enjoyed by everyone . An excellent holiday.
Had a great time with APT on the Travelmaris Vega and Polaris. Spent 2 weeks cruising from Amsterdam to Budapest calling at some great places and seeing wonderful scenery. Cabins were clean and everything you needed was there. Staff and crew were superb. All the trips were well organised. Would definitely use APT again.
We really enjoyed our Croatian small ships cruise. The trip was so well organised. There was an very good balance of free time and group trips. The ship was excellent. The staff were all very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Cheri Coll was the best cruise director I have ever seen. Her smile and little information talks were always so clear but very amusing. Well done APT
