Selling items they don't have in stock

I ordered an item from this organization which mentioned July 10 as delivery - I've just spoken to these people and they have told me they don't have even the item in stock in Victoria so are advertising appliances they don't have and I now don't know when this item will be available or delivered in Victoria - they offered me the same item to be POSTED though I requested my old item of exactly the same product be collected for recycle so how is an Aust Post delivery going to achieve that - now I wait and watch for a "couple" of weeks until the item is in stock in Victoria. Very misleading and poor customer service should have gone retail.

Great to shop & deal with

We have now got several large household white-goods from Appliances Online. Have purchased via the website & on the phone when using their price matching offer. Really excellent to deal with. The delivery service is first rate keeping you up-to-date with the delivery status and arrival date/time. Plus taking away the old one is just great. In one case I had to make a warranty claim - again it was no hassle, excellent to deal with and they sorted the problem out for me. Highly recommended to deal with. We will do so again.

Great first experience

I've visited Appliances Online many times over the years but never made any purchases. This time the product we wanted at the best price could only be provided by Appliances Online. Overall, the process was simple and informative from ordering right through to delivery. I'm always apprehensive when purchasing from an online seller I have never dealt with before, but I will not hesitate to use Appliances Online again when the need arises. I especially want to make mention of the delivery guys for our area. I made it easy for them by having my old appliance outside waiting for them and didn't require them to bring the new appliance inside either however they were willing to do their full duties with a smile if needed. Big kudos to your whole process Appliances Online. I would struggle to think of anything that could make the experience much better.

Delivery issues

Part of order was forgotten. Driver advised it wasn’t loaded onto truck. Called customer service and was advised they would update me by end of day about solution. No call 3 days later so called again. They told me driver forgot it even though I asked the driver about it and he advised it wasn’t on the truck. They advised again they would call with solution by end of day. No call. Called again today only to be told that if they can they may be able to deliver it in a weeks time as the earlier time is booked out. Told them it’s not my issue you forgot it and to work something out sooner only to be told well it’s only a stacking kit and a lower priced item so it could wait. No urgency to solve issue. 2nd time ordering from here and 2nd time I have had delivery issues.

CHiQ 410L Top Mount Fridge

What a great deal (under $800 delivered), what a great fridge & what great service. Very happy with my black Friday purchase. Thought I may have to purchase either a lower quality fridge (due to costs) or a more expensive one (due to quality), but no, this CHiQ 410L Top Mount Fridge is ideal. Great quality, great 5 year bonus warranty (3 years standard warranty with in home service plus bonus 2 years extended) 10 years on compressor – parts ) & all the bells an whistles of more expensive fridges (that don't have as good a warranty). 4 star Energy Rating (only $85.00 a year to run based on my energy supplier rates $0.26 per KWH) , Reversible Door, Heaps of space, very quiet totally Frost Free. Nice to have great LED illumination (like daylight) compared to previous fridges. Delivery service was outstanding. Notified continually all the way from purchase to my kitchen. The delivery people were`fantastic, courteous, friendly & super helpful, can't speak highly enough.

Disgusting service

Disgusting service - Order # 5262715 I ordered a Samsung Bespoke Jet Pro Extra Stick Vacuum Cleaner on the 25 October 46 days ago, I have received 2 email amending the delivery date, lasted email says item would be delivered on the 4th December 6 days ago, I have had no contact from Appliances Online regrading any updated delivery date or time, Please refund my money you have stolen by Monday 11 December 2023, I I don't see action to refund money I will be taking my complaint to the ACCC regarding or handling of this sale, I don't understand why you cannot supply this item most all other appliance companies have this item in stock. I am not interest in talking on the phone all you here BS it will be delivery on this date. Refund my money by Monday 11 December 2023 close of business or further action will be taken.

Huge issues with delivery

Huge issues with delivery 1) original delivery date was for Dec 2nd. Got no notification about delivery, when I called in they mentioned there was a system issue and delivery could not be made. Scheduled it for next day 2) Dec 3rd, got no notification again...I called in they said delivery could not be made again! Now scheduled for Dec 9th 3) On Dec 9th, I received a text at 6:44 AM that the delivery would be at my new home in 30 min. I don't live at the location and it takes me an hour to get there. I can't get to location with very little notice. Delivery could not be made. Early morning is not the issue, but I need at least 1 hour notice to get to the property, I was told this was not possible. I'm very dissatisfied with the customer service after the company dropped the ball on 2 delivery dates and can't give at least an hour notice before delivery... My invoice number is: SI06992503

They looked after me when things went wrong

Initially I thought I might be in for a bad experience -- there was some damage to my property during delivery, and then I found a manufacturing fault with my new fridge. HOWEVER, Appliances Online was amazing to deal with and made sure everything was made right. They paid for repairs to my property and replaced my fridge without any bother. Then, when the second fridge had a different manufacturing fault, they replaced that one too, again without any fuss. Manufacturing faults can happen with any retailer - and it's a consumer right to have them rectified - but what makes the difference is a retailer who is communicative and willing to make things right, rather than one that makes the whole process a chore. I was very impressed by Appliances Online.

Very disappointed

Very disappointed. Bought and organised delivery of an appliance with a weeks notice. Was there until 11 am day of delivery only to be called that the warehouse had not loaded and that delivery will be in another two days!!!

I have been a longtime customer (since 2009)

I have been a longtime customer (since 2009?) of Appliances Online. Over the years I have found the entire team behind each order to be very well coordinated ensuring the status of each order is clearly communicated and delivered professionally and by personally committed personnel. Appliances Online are a very trustworthy company with quality products, and never disappoint. My last order (a hard-to-find air filter) arrived 4 days ago. Brilliant!

TV arrived damaged and they flat out…

TV arrived damaged and they flat out refuse to acknowledge it or do anything to replace or refund me. Awful customer service staffed by the usual useless unintelligent call centre types Now they are asking for the invoice number which I given to them at least 5 times and still nothing has happened - beware if you buy from this company the customer service is appalling SI06923128

Just lies about supply of TV that are on their website, been waiting 3 weeks no and they say that they now dont have any but still have my money.... Sick of being scammed by online companies - going back to do everything retail now where i can trust people
