My experience with this training centre was brilliant as the trainer thought me everything that I need to become a highly skilled whitegoods engineer.
Great course and well explained by a top trainer!
Excellent experience! Trainer (Lee) has extensive knowledge of the industry and and conveys the information in a practical and understandable way. Would highly recommend this course for both inexperienced and experienced engineers as the course gives you a great understanding of white goods appliances!
Very good course. Lee was extremely knowledgable and made every simple and understandable, great experience all round
We had our engineer attend two training sessions (fridge freezer systems and microwaves) which were very well constructed. He has come away more confident and applied his new knowledge in jobs he has attended since. Thank you to the engineers heading the courses (very knowledgeable) and NAC for organising the courses, money well spent. We will definitely be using NAC for our engineer training in the future.
Brilliant course with an extremely knowledgeable trainer. The training centre is easy to find, modern and everything I required for my 2 days there. Massive thanks to Dave and Dan for having me at short notice and I’m looking forward to go back in the future for another course. Ashley
I had a great 2 weeks completing the foundation course and learned a lot. All of the staff at the NAC were very approachable and knowledgeable, keen to answer questions and share their decades worth of knowledge and experience. The time spent on the tools and the training machines was invaluable and has given me the confidence to open up appliances, test components and find faults. I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested in working in appliance repairs or even if you are just interested in how things work and to pick up some extra life skills. Great value for money.
Excellent training centre , 10 day foundation course is very in depth and covers every aspect. David is a brilliant teacher and very approachable if you need help with anything. Highly recommended nac training and cant thank them enough for the course.
Just attended the 10 foundation course. Awesome course. The course is a must if your looking to start off in this industry, as it teaches you the basics to advance in fault finding, testing and repairs, in a clean and modern training centre. All the staff at Nac training are really friendly and helpful, and Dave is a top instructor. Would definitely recommend 👍🏻.
Thank you NAC for the best possible training that a trainee appliance engineer could possibly receive. Upon completion of their excellent two week theory course I had the amazing opportunity to train with their National trainer Adrian who went above and beyond to make sure I gained the skills and experience to start my new journey as an appliance engineer. Not only did he teach me how to take on new and unfamiliar appliances and situations with confidence but his customer service was also exceptional leaving every client as happy as possible and completing every repair to the highest quality. Learning with Adrian has been a memorable and helpful experience and I now look forward to being able to progress in my new career thanks to him.
Brilliant company, highly recommended.
Good course, very well delivered, Dave’s an excellent teacher and knows his stuff! Would recommend if your experienced and want to start doing fridge repairs.
Very good trainers 👌 recommended
The tutors Dan and Dave have made the courses very interesting and entertaining. Dan and Dave went out of their way to spend quality time with me, to ensure that I understood the course and passed it. They are both very helpful, and still offer guidance once the course has ended. Thank you very much Dan and Dave for your time and patience. I would certainly recommend that people attend the courses offered by the NAC National Training Centre.

NAC White Goods Training Review – From a British Gas Engineer Who Loved Every Second!!! As a British Gas Engineer with no prior background in white goods, I can confidently say that enrolling in the white goods training course with NAC has been one of the most rewarding and enriching experiences of my professional development. From day one, I felt welcomed, supported, and most importantly, taught in a way that respected the fact I was starting from absolute zero in this field. The heart of the course – and what truly makes it stand out – is Lee, the instructor. Lee has an incredibly calm and friendly approach to teaching, which made a world of difference to me. His ability to make complex systems feel approachable is a genuine skill. What impressed me most is how he never rushes through anything. He takes his time to explain even the smallest details, patiently and clearly, making sure every concept lands properly before moving on. You’re never made to feel like a question is too basic or unimportant – in fact, Lee encourages questions and takes his time to answer every single one in depth. There were moments where I struggled with certain concepts, but Lee never gave up until I fully understood them. That level of dedication and patience isn’t something you come across often, and it shows how much he genuinely cares about the success of his students. The structure of the lessons was another highlight. Every session was well-organised and thoughtfully planned, building step-by-step in a way that gradually built up my knowledge and confidence. Despite having no background in white goods at all, I left the course with a deep understanding of the subject and the practical skills to match it. NAC as a company is incredibly well set up for training. They have a wide variety of appliances on-site, from washing machines and tumble dryers to ovens and dishwashers, giving you hands-on experience with real machines you’ll likely come across in the field. That hands-on exposure was crucial for me, and it bridged the gap between theory and practical application seamlessly. One of the best parts of the course is the lifetime access to online resources. I can’t stress how valuable that is. It means I can revisit materials at any time, refresh my memory on a specific issue, or even catch up if I’ve had to miss something. It’s a brilliant support system that continues long after the course ends. I would recommend this course to absolutely anyone, regardless of your background. Whether you’re a complete beginner like I was, someone looking to switch careers, or even a seasoned tradesperson looking to expand into white goods – this course delivers on every level. In short, NAC offers a top-tier training experience with real depth, excellent support, and a phenomenal teacher Lee. I genuinely loved every second of it and left not only with a new skill set, but with the confidence and resources to build a future in white goods engineering.
