Entering day 4 without mains water. No end in sight. Apparently they can’t find the cause of the supply failure.

Reported a domestic water leak almost 3 weeks ago. An initial visit confirmed it was the company's responsibility to repair but a follow up visit was needed. 3 weeks pass & the same technician turns up to take photos of the leak he saw 3 weeks before. In the interim no.proactive communication from the.companu. Promised callbacks never came. And.booked visits never happened. Awful! And I have no alternative provider.I can switch to. Simply.awful service
Had a few issues with my account including them moving me out of my address when I’m the only person that has ever lived at the property. However spoke to a lovely person called Kelly from the extra care team and she went above and beyond to sort the issue and resolved everything in 1 phone call with help from Gina from customer relations. Really good customer service
The original call handler and then Emmanuel went above and beyond to help me with current struggles, and couldn't do enough to help support me in difficult times and for the future.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Anglian water have been an absolute nightmare ever since moving unto our new house. We had a water meter fitted and during the fitting the engineer said 'keep an eye on the readings and let us know if it doesn't look right as it's hard to tell what house is yours'. When our bill arrived it was way over our normal useage so we called to raise this issue. We had our own plumber, plus anglian water back out and both agreed the water meter had been placed in the wrong location and was reading for next doors house. This meant we were paying for a family of five's water instead of our own two person useage. Since then we have been in constant contact trying to get anglian water to fix the meter and they keep delaying. It took four attempts before someone 'changed' the meter, but it is still in the exact same location, even though we were told it would need to be moved inside the house. Our bill is now being flagged as overdue and it alread over double what we would previously pay for the whole year in just six months. It's absolutely ridiculous at this point and evertime we call we seem to be getting no-where.
Actually, customer service is not competent at all over the phone regarding debit card payments.
Anglian Water need prosecuting for fraud and for charging people for services they do not properly provide. They overcharged me for water, they dump sewerage out into rivers yet you are billed for the privellege all whilst they rake in eyewatering profits for shareholders. Disgusting scum bag company
Don't understand why bills gone up so so much will not pay higher amount, funny how read my meter no reading just gone up they inform you when it done horrible service will contact the obsman.
Another incompetent company owned by a Private Consortium. Inadequate repair, a complete lack of customer care and satisfaction. There is a common lack of responsibility and there is no willingness to take ownership and resolve the issue. You would think that to change a leaking water meter was a straight forward job, it started on the 1st April 2025 and finished mid June 2025. Once the meter was changed to hole in the garden was left open for two - three weeks, the wheel barrow of muck was left on the ground beside the hole for that two - three week period. A lot of site visits, more than 8 site visits by Anglian Water, normally two workers in a van. The responsibility to remove the old muck and fill the hole was passed about for a week or two. Eventually two workers turned up and filed the hole with the old muck and explained they don't concrete the water meter in place so left like it three inches out of the ground and at an angle. During the last telephone conversation with Anglian Water they explained that the job is complete and they are satisfied they carried out the job to their standards.
RIP off merchants now with these new prices, had my highest bill in over 12 years = total piss take!
I have been with them for 15 years - always advise if you are under paying or over paying (offer to send money back) - Just writing this review because they are the easiest to deal with of all my utility companies
Extortionate rise in bills this year, and sickening knowing my extra 19% is largely going to shareholders rather than investing in the network. Simply put, Anglian Water is a scam company. The company needs dissolving and renationalising so that it can be run for the public’s interest rather than for profit.
Anglian Water used contractors from Claret Civil Engineering. They seem at ease with not knocking on doors and will instead trespass, help themselves to your side gate, into your garden and start digging out drain covers 5 feet from your house. “Sorry mate, I didn’t know who it belonged to”. Pull the other one - you are 5 feet from my open back door. Absolute morons
I had a problem with the box and valve which resulted in us not being able to turn the water off in an emergency. Dave from Norwich attended today and was absolutely brilliant. Identified the best way forward and cracked on and dealt with it quickly. Outstanding customer service skills. Thank you.
So Anglian Water can’t be bothered to build new sewage works… because of the cost. But the good news is they will invest in more bat boxes and hedge hog highways which they can get for £10 from B&Q; so the Directors’ remuneration is safe; hurrah.
So the roads in West Hunsbury have restrictions with traffic lights, but no-one is working there. This is the 4th day of disruption.

DUE TO ABSOLUTE INCOMPETENCE THEY HAD TO ATTENDED A FURTHER 31 TIMES CAUSING SEVERAL FLOODS, 8 EXCAVATIONS , DESTRUCTION OF THE GARDEN AND DAMAGE TO INTERNAL PLUMBING. WHEN A COMPLAINT WAS RAISED NOTHING WAS RESOLVED JUST A CATALOGUE OF LIES AND EMPTY APOLOGIES. HAVE YOU TOO BEEN A VICTIM OF GROSS NEGLIGENCE BY ANGLIAN WATER IF SO COME BACK OVER TO TRUSTPILOT ON THE 16/6/2025 FOR THE LINK TO GROUP LEGAL ACTION. THIS COMPANY IS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE!!!
Disgusting aggressive billing .. loads of unnecessary threats in letter .. this company pumping poor quality water and overcharging .. we have had three occasions in last year where our water supply has gone down .. Who are these people to behave the way they do, they offer poor service, and charge extortionate fees ..
