Excellent Service

I recently had an issue with tiles picking up and fading - I contacted the company and they dealt with it in a very speedy and efficient way. The product is excellent and this is matched by the service

Beautiful floor laid very skillfully

Beautiful floor laid very skillfully. Warranty registration process easy and prompt. One issue - as tiles are supplied in 2sqm packs, we were left with 1.65sqms of expensive tiles. Perhaps packs should be supplied in 1sqm quantity.

No accountability for merchandising mistake

I went to look at Amtico products in a local shop. Chose a particular sample and was given a price based on this. However it turned out that Amtico had put the wrong range stickers (Spacia) on their entire sample display (Signature)! The actual cost was £24 more per m2. The shop assistant contacted the Amtico rep, but they won’t do anything to honour their merchandising mistake - which constitutes false advertising under trading standards. Big companies giving zero customer service or accountability. The local flooring shop have offered a discount to us on a cheaper range due to the misinformation, at a cost to their profit margins. Very disappointed in Amtico.

I can’t believe the negative reports…

I can’t believe the negative reports about Amtico. I have Amtico signature in two rooms . Amtico spacia in kitchen . The top layer in signature range is sprayed with ceramic and almosi indestructible . Nothing is sun proof. It’s dull because people have used washing up liquid in the floor or other detergents . Consequently it will be dull and sticky and attract dirt . If your floor looks grubby it’s because it is grubby. Deep clean it with Amtico stripper , rinse with lots of clean water . Dress it with Amtico floor dressing ( use a sponge) you’ll have a floor like new . Dress it once a year at least . It will last for a very long time Ive had Amtico since the eighties onwards . There’s nothing to beat it . Bend a piece of other makes of LV flooring and it will tear . The top layer is so thin But bend Amtico flooring and it will spring back to its original shape

We had amtico floor tiles installed…

We had amtico floor tiles installed into our new build in 2018. The tiles looked constantly grubby and never clean. amtico after a lot of effort on my part did pay for buffing but it was only a short term fix. Six years on we have saved enough for a new floor. It has also discoloured near windows and the light tones in the tile have turned blue.

Expensive mistake

We had a very expensive Signature Amtico floor (close to £2k) laid in our kitchen just a couple of years ago. Since then it has marked beyond belief. More recently we have seen the tiles have shrunk leaving clear gaps of 2-3 mm between them, albeit where the sun shines. Mr Technical support said it was our fault for choosing the "wrong tiles" and even blamed the installers for using the wrong glue - pull the other one. This installation has proved to be a big big mistake. To be fair our installers have taken this seriously and are looking to replace the tiles but the same will happen again. The great shiny warranty only covers wear of the surface, so no surprise there.

Amtico Spacia Sun Bleached Oak

Got Amtico Spacia Sun Bleached Oak fitted by our builders subcontractors in late 2020. By this year it had suffered significant colour change. When I contacted Amtico they couldn’t have been more helpful and now I have a brand new floor. I would have given five stars but reduced to four stars as it’s a shame the original flooring was not of the standard we expected.

Very disappointing quality

Very disappointing quality. Purchased £7600 of tiles for a kitchen and hallway of Basilica Salt signature range. The colour difference between some of the boxes is quite significant and the end result looks cheap and will be a regret for many years. We do not recommend Amtico products and would suggest you think twice before paying for this premium product.

Haggai company

Good floors, and outstanding customer service. A manufacturing issue was found in our floor, so Amtico replaced it completely at their expense with a two year guarantee. The fitting was faulty, Amtico inspected it, and agreed it was poor, and replaced the entire floor a second time. Could not be more impressed with their service, especial after sales.

Bought Amtico floor for the hall

Bought Amtico floor for the hall, kitchen and lounge of our bungalow back in November 2020. After three years a large area in front of the patio doors had faded and turned a very light green due to UV damage. Beware of this if you are planning to purchase a light-coloured Amtico floor for areas exposed to long-term direct sunlight. I contacted our floor fitter and the company about this issue. Initially, I thought Amtico were just ignoring me but it turns out they simply wrote down my e-mail address incorrectly. They have now offered to replace upto 20 square meters of flooring for free which is more than fair considering how common UV damage to flooring must be.
