The best electricity retailer I have had for 20 years
This is a great company if you use lots of electricity.
They give you warnings when the price is expensive so you can cut back your usage.The rest of the day your power is less then half the price of other power companies.As they price power on how much the are charged,not what they can get away with like other companies.They also send you details in the beginning of each season on their maximum charge related to peak pricing.They also have an app that shows how much power you are using at anytime and how much solar is going back into the grid.
When you have any questions they get back to you quickly.

Outstanding product. We get our electricity at cheaper price and best of all get great export prices. Customer service has been amazing, explaining each questions answer clearly with the assistance to talk us through what we needed to do. Well done guys
A breath of fresh air, with a company that is allowing solar and battery installers to be rewarded for their investment. Other companies, have reduced solar input to 3 cents per kw, an insult. Looking forward to a mutually rewarding experience, where we are rewarded for our investment.
All good! But I’d like an enhanced app that allows more than 1 property to be shown. In the process of selling an Amber connected house and moving to another house that I’ve connected via Amber. I’d like to have both properties in the one app. Your thoughts?
Magnificent service. Demand side control of energy prices. Now that we have smart meters, traditional energy retailers do not offer value. They exist only to provide access to the market. That is not a free market.
I am rewarded to think carefully when my demand enters the market. I charge my car and heat my water when supply and demand suit my price point. That in turn stresses the grid less and i use more renewables as they out compete fossil fuels on price. My account history proves that. Some politicians and fossil exponents would like to think consumers will just suck up all their lies about renewables. Not if we have a choice we dont. Thank you amber
For sure Amber is cheaper. I am small user (avg. 3KWh-). If I use the app and monitor and use it at the low time, will get more savings, but don't really care, as I am saving $20 avg. per month which I happy with.
Now if they can do the same with GAS.
Best customer service of any utility I’ve used in years. There is no navigating multiple levels of generic ‘help’ before finding someone to deal with my specific question, and their answers are quick, relevant and clear. And that’s before you even get to their pricing and environmental credentials.
I love the concept of the Amber business. I am fully supportive of a company such as this that provides a real and competitive alternative to the traditional energy retailers. Customer service is excellent timely and helpful. The only criticism is my first bill was complicated with a few charges I didn’t understand.
