Amber electric have upped my usage…

Amber electric have upped my usage charge by 3 times my original costing. Doubling my previous bill. I work full time hardly home with 2 people in the house. When asked why it is so high. They said I used more that month. Not double the amount. I will not use them again it recommend them.

The best electricity retailer I have had for 20 years

This is a great company if you use lots of electricity. They give you warnings when the price is expensive so you can cut back your usage.The rest of the day your power is less then half the price of other power companies.As they price power on how much the are charged,not what they can get away with like other companies.They also send you details in the beginning of each season on their maximum charge related to peak pricing.They also have an app that shows how much power you are using at anytime and how much solar is going back into the grid. When you have any questions they get back to you quickly. Amber is the best electricity supplier I have had in the last 20 years.

Outstanding product

Outstanding product. We get our electricity at cheaper price and best of all get great export prices. Customer service has been amazing, explaining each questions answer clearly with the assistance to talk us through what we needed to do. Well done guys

A breath of fresh air

A breath of fresh air, with a company that is allowing solar and battery installers to be rewarded for their investment. Other companies, have reduced solar input to 3 cents per kw, an insult. Looking forward to a mutually rewarding experience, where we are rewarded for our investment.

I'm SO grateful I found Amber

I'm SO grateful I found Amber! After the B.S. I'd been put through by other providers, I finally found a company who gives a damn about their customers. My whole experience with Amber has been amazing - they couldn't be more helpful, positive and clear with what goes on. Have been recommending them to everyone I know. I have halved my electricity bills since making the smart move to Amber! 😊

Finally an energy company with values that align with mine. Amber is transparent, keeping me fully informed of price fluctuations so I can adjust my usage accordingly. This is the way energy suppling should be working. Thank you.

Amber are Awesome!

Amber give you your energy use via an app...and they ask you to turn off non essential power or divert to home renewable if you can. You can check your daily use and work out your monthly spend. In our first 12 months with Amber, we have saved $2,000 annually on electricity bills. Our only utility is electricity...so use a lot. Highly recommend using Amber!

Consumer focus in power reselling is refreahing

Great service starting to be very useful. Consumer focused as not making money from the price gap so concerntrates on saving you money and providing transparency. No confusing discounts and gotchas hidden away. SMS triggers for price spikes in your area. Views of wholesale solar prices. All the things traditional energy companies hide from you.

I joined Amber in the summer and loved…

I joined Amber in the summer and loved the overall approach and the very low average prices, sometimes approaching zero cents on hot, windy days. Winter has been more challenging, with very high price spikes some mornings and evenings, typically on chilly days. Heating the house (we’re all electric) has been much more costly at these times and sometimes unavoidable. The volatility of prices on these days can be monitored on the app, but at times I find I need to check it every 5-10 minutes, it doesn’t make for a low stress lifestyle. I think on balance I would like them to offer a few price-smoothing options.

Saving money is always a great deal…

Saving money is always a great deal especially in this times. I had a challenge once and received just a day later a call from a person ( I believe it was one of the owners). I felt comfortable and respected by delivering my concern which was easily resolved. Would recommend to anybody especially with solar panels.

Although I’m no longer with Amber due to a change of circumstances with my living, I know I will go back to using them at some point as they are easy to deal with, the app is great and the CEO’s are cool. I like the ease of the paperless bills and the app is really helpful in making you wary of your usage. Thanks Amber.
