Steve from the Whitfield Dover area of Affinity Water, was quite amazing. He kept me up to date on a leak I reported outside of the village & called again to report to me when work on the repair was in action. Unusually great service in this day & age & good to know water loss is taken seriously. I would say he is a credit to the company, going the extra mile to find a leak in a very difficult environment & Affinity Waters fast action in itself was faultless.

Freya & Giuseppe were both 10/10!…

Freya & Giuseppe were both extremely helpful in resolving some serious water issues to my home. Personally I have received amazing service from them both, and I am very happy with how I've been treated, and I do feel, well looked after, as a customer of Affinity Water.

Customer service -sad . Is there anyone else allowed to supply water in Barnet area? Doesn't look like it.

Poor response to my query.

Prolonged hold when I called - wait time repeatedly stated as over half an hour. No call-back option, which most call centres now offer. Gave up and went online. First available appointment for a visit apparently December. This is very poor service and if your company was not a monopoly you would not be able to retain customers with this level of service. I got your reply - you say you would like more detail. I would like a meter fitted in a reasonable time - having had a first visit in March, and now having to wait till December for a follow-up is not reasonable or acceptable.

My daughter moved into a property…

My daughter moved into a property today, our last job was to turn the water on. There was a problem at the valve near the meter. They contacted Affinity water and within an hour or so we had an engineer at the door. He sorted the valve but waited as the meter was spinning and contacted us. On investigation the ballcock on the tank in the loft was faulty. The engineer probably saved us a ceiling etc: Top bloke, good service and deserves the credit. Sorry I didn't get his name but Many Thanks. Think he's a Man U supporter. Cheers Peter.

Replaced water meter in footpath…

Replaced water meter in footpath outside our driveway. No notice given. Dreadful mess left behind including cigarette butts. Suspect our first few pounds worth of water will have been used cleaning driveway and footpath. NOT IMPRESSED.

This company have the best customer…

This company have the best customer service, always brilliant on the phone and their website is so user friendly! Recently had a big leak in the next village, looked on their website and all the information of the situation was there in detail, plus regular updates, text messages and emails sent to me with updates, bottled water delivered to my home address, and leak fixed within 24 hours, such brilliant service! They could give British Gas a lesson in customer service and issue resolving!

Excellent customer service

Rang the customer service number regarding getting my bill decreased, as I am a sole occupier and my bill said 4+ people. I spoke to an extremely lovely lady called Vicky who's smile I could hear through the phone. She dealt with the issue promptly and made it a very pleasant experience, resulting in my bill being halved. Affinity water are privileged to have her in their company. I would definitely recommend the service to friends and family.

Issue resolution

Due to an admin error by us, we hadn’t updated the relevant details after moving house. When notified we set up an account online which generated a rather large (compared to our previous property) bill, which caused me to kick off! Called today, spoke to two people who assessed the situation, explained it in context and how longer term we will be paying the same as we were before. They set up the DD, alleviating the need to go online and doing it again. All round superb.

Why is the customer explaining the discrepancies to the call handler !!???

A few months ago I am told I’ve been paying my bill towards a wrong property ! Not my own ! So they sent people to read both meters and apparently my own property used more water than the other one so my bills went up ! Then for three days on a row I’m called asking for arrears for three different amounts . The first member of staff was helpful and I paid the arrears and upped my direct debit . The next top phone calls were confusing , unhelpful with the last one being very abrupt and defensive . I have a concern that the property situation isn’t rectified , only they can see their system so I’m asking for Clarity ! Getting calls each say asking for more money saying I have no direct debit set up is stressful ! When I explain about previous calls it’s only then that they read the notes of previous calls . Why not read before you call thinking I owe money ??? Common sense , I have asked to be emailed instead because explaining the discrepancies is not my job it’s there’s !!! Frustrated indeed !!!
