I had the pleasure of completing my practical gas training under Simon at Access Training, and I can honestly say he is one of the best instructors I’ve ever met. Simon is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and professional. He explains everything clearly and always makes sure you fully understand not just what to do, but why you’re doing it. His approach to teaching combines real-world experience with a strong focus on safety and correct procedure, which really builds confidence. He always encouraged me to ask questions and take my time to get things right, and that made a huge difference in my learning. Thanks to his support, I now feel confident and well-prepared to work safely and competently in the gas industry.
Sophie was very helpful through the week of theory exams, made everything very easy to understand and answered any questions anybody had throughout the week.
I have done my Gas with Access I am very happy with what I have learnt with Stuart. He is very knowledgeable engineer and his approached towards me helped me a lot through the course. Excellent atmosphere and work environment.
Extremely helpful, quick to reply and all round great help to aid me in my course and career.
recently completed my Electrical NVQ assessment with Craig Wiltshire as my assessor, and I was thoroughly impressed by his professionalism and expertise. Craig provided clear guidance, constructive feedback, and consistent support throughout the entire process. His knowledge of the electrical industry and NVQ standards is outstanding, and he always took the time to ensure I fully understood each requirement. I’d highly recommend Craig to anyone looking for a dedicated and reliable assessor who genuinely cares about his learners’ success.
Just finished my Electrical NVQ. For me it was really good experience all through the webinars, theory exams, practical assessments and the portfolio development. A great standard of teaching with clear guidance and support for learners, particularly during the portfolio stage.
I recently completed my part of my gas practice course with access training, and I can confidently say it was one of the most professional and engaging training experiences I’ve ever had. From start to finish, the organisation, course content, and delivery exceeded all expectations. The facilities and materials provided were of a very high standard, and communication from the training team was always clear, friendly, and efficient. Every aspect of the course was structured to help learners succeed, both in understanding the theory and applying it practically. A special mention must go to Simon, whose knowledge and teaching ability were exceptional. Their delivery style made complex topics easy to understand, and they brought real-world experience into every session. They were patient, approachable, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure everyone was confident with the material. Thanks to their guidance and support, I’ve not only passed this section of the the course but also gained a much deeper understanding and confidence in applying my new skills in the workplace. I would highly recommend Access Training and Simon to anyone looking for high-quality, professional, and engaging training to become a gas engineer.
The recruitment department are very competent. Nick went the extra mile to help and was quick in the process.
I have started my Premium gas course recently on a weekends. Hoping it will give me a base of knowledge, what will be sufficient for a carrier change (from a highly stressful office based current role 3d furniture design). We are over halfway through the online webinars with Steve. I love to way he delivers the lessons. He explains very clearly, with real world examples from his career. He's aim to train a new more knowledgeable generation of engineers. I am pleased to be part of the group attending on his lessons. I feel confident, and looking forward for the theory exams, and later the practical. It was a good choice to enroll for this Gas course with Access Training, the portal very professional easy to use. I really like the level of resource available on the website, what is very useful for someone like me trying to learn alongside a busy everyday life. Looking forward to complete all exams and start my journey as a qualified GAS SAFE engineer.
Just finished my 2 week electrical course with access trainint, highly rate my assessor James Coffie, extremely knowledgeable very helpful and has a great way of breaking things down and making them easy to understand.
Just completed my 2 weeks NVQ practical training and assessments in Cardiff, James Coffey is an amazing tutor guided me through from the start of my basic electrics training right through to this week. Couldn’t ask for a better tutor!!
DO NOT BUY THERE COURSE!!!! They lied to me saying, you will be able to finish the course in 6months it’s been over a year and I’m no where to finishing. The assessor who assess the work is absolutely terrible doesn’t assess the work properly and then they state, “ he’s got other work to do” but only mark one page out of 15 there every 2 weeks 🤦🏻♂️. There so many better place to get course out there then these people! Who are also not helpful at all there is probably one person called Andy who actually is helpful everyone else is useless once you’ve bought the course!
James Coffey was an excellent tutor, guided me through my entire NVQ 3 course, and was an excellent source of help with studying and ultimately completing my course.
Nick helped me edit my CV and done a really good job. Also helping me with my gas portfolio placement.
Amazing work
I had Paul Kelly as my instructor and passed on my first attempt. Amazing instructor! Thank You!
I had a good time throughout all the webinar by the professionalism that the tutors showed.
After a long journey I am now proud to say I’m fully qualified. The guys at access training are knowledgeable and help you all the way. Also a massive shout out to my NVQ assessor Craig Wiltshire, it’s people like him who makes these things happen for us learners. If I could I’d give him 6/5 stars!
I was doing my electrical practical with Gareth Jehu. The class was a good size with four students, including myself. Gareth's knowledge of the industry is fantastic, and I feel that this carried over into his training. No questions were too silly, and all instructions were clear and precise. If extra help was needed, it was given.
