Im currently having a really good experience
5 weekends of plumbing webinars with Paul had been intense and I learned a lot of new things from Paul. Very nice guy, very straightforward teacher. I will definitely watch again all the webinars recordings. Paul deserves a 5 stars rating
I would like to thank Paul for all his time doing the webinars over the last 5 weeks, I have learnt a lot and will continue to study. He had made it fun and enjoyable, hope to meet you one day in person. All the best Marty
Great course content delivered exceptionally well. My teacher Paul often went above and beyond delivering just what was on the slides for the webinars, using real world scenarios to demonstrate the knowledge being applied. He would also go into a lot of detail and take care explaining small details to ensure a good and clear understanding of each topic. thoroughly recommend Access for your training, from the first call, to booking the course and going through the webinars, its been first class.
Its hard to write this review because there are honestly some amazing elements but some also shocking parts to Access training. I absolutely cannot fault the tutors they give so much to help student grow and learn. However here are the bad bits, no open pricing so everyone pays different prices which feels very dishonest no matter what they say they do not itemise each course and how they get to the final price. The course is sold to bring you in but what you get is frustration, poor communication and the course does not meet the sales pitch. The equipment at Welwyn Garden City is old, broken and to be honest feels like I am training on scrap appliances. I would like to highlight 3 tutors that need to be recognised. Andy Sibly, Adam Lee and his colleague Stuart absolutely outstanding people. I cannot thank these guys enough. As I say its the tutors that make this course worth the effort and somehow I will get to the end because I owe it to those amazing tutors.
After passing my ACS yesterday I would just like to say a massive thank you to a couple of the tutors that got me through my training at access. Andy sibley for being my main tutor through out with the webinars and the practical training etc. Always happy to answer a question over the phone when needed to thanks mate. Then Rob who took all my weekend classes massive thanks mate great bloke full of knowledge and made the weekend classes a good atmosphere making learning so much more enjoyable. Again massive thanks to both of you! All the best 👍
Very easy to understand and very helpful
I recently completed the 2 weeks practical training in Gas Engineer course at Access Training Centre in Manchester, and I can confidently say it was a fantastic decision. The facilities at the Manchester centre are genuinely amazing and the staff are very helpful. You can see and learn from very old appliances to the most modern, well-maintained, and fully equipped with the latest boilers and practical workstations. This high-quality, hands-on environment makes a massive difference, allowing you to move seamlessly from theory to practical application without feeling constrained by inadequate equipment. One of the real highlight of the course is the instruction provided by Simon. He is a brilliant tutor—incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and engaging. He brings real-world industry experience into the classroom, helping complex topics easy to understand and always taking the time for one-to-one support. His teaching style instils confidence, which is vital when moving toward Gas Safe registration. I highly recommend Access Training Centre, and specifically Simon, to anyone serious about getting into the gas trade.
Attended at Nottingham for Weekend courses with John and the experience was great. It is about a 15 minute walk from the train station, there is also a car park just behind the building too if you drive and there are plenty of options for lunch close by. I can only recommend it for people who are close by.
Great week in Cardiff completing my level 2 and 3 test and inspection. Brilliant facilities on site. Gareth Jehu was excellent.
Did my electrician practical exams in Sheffield recently and the exam days were cut short due to maintenance to the building. Obviously I had to stay in a hotel while there and was put out quite a bit of money as they couldn’t refund me for the nights I wouldn’t need there. Was called by Antony Lamb this morning on the phone and he was so helpful with tryna help me get the money get and sort out some other issues with my course. So thanks again you were a amazing help
This 5 star review is for the practical electrical training and assessment team at the Cardiff and Edenbridge Center. I have recently attended the Cardiff training centre where I completed my 10 day practical electrical training for my core electrics and inspection and testing with Gareth. During my time there I found Gareth very welcoming and supportive throughout the 10 days of training. Gareth was always happy to answer any questions and explained each stage with no issues. This was done in great detail preparing me for my practical assessment. During my time at Cardiff I had some communication with James another tutor/ assessor who was happy to engage in conversation and made effort to speak to me. After my training at Cardiff I attended the Edenbridge Center to complete my practical assessment. Simon was the assessor there. From the start Simon was very welcoming and supportive making me feel comfortable throughout the assessment. Simon was happy to engage in conversation with me and other students this made the experience positive throughout. Hopefully the next stage of my learning NVQ level 3 electrics is as positive as my core electrics has been. Thanks Access training
Completed and passed my ESI training on Friday. The trainer was excellent, his knowledge was excellent and he made the day feel like it was worth while. Many training courses feel like its just ticking a box. This felt different and I came away with confidence. You should give the trainer a job for life. You should give
I have just spent the last five days completing the initial verification and periodic testing course in Cardiff with the assessor Gareth Jehu who has extensive knowledge of the electrical industry, He was very helpful and reassuring. Also very professional when conducting the assessment I really enjoyed the week and felt welcome from the first day I got there. I also sat the 18th edition wiring regulations exam in July and the customer service team were very helpful with booking in exams and giving out the exam results. Would definitely recommend these courses for others who want to progress their career.
I completed my 2391 Inspection & Testing course at Access Training Cardiff with Gareth Jehu, and it was easily the best learning experience I’ve had. Gareth’s technical expertise and his ability to explain complex topics in simple, practical terms made a huge difference. He doesn’t just follow the book — he teaches real understanding. What stood out most was his dedication to every student’s success. He takes the time to make sure no one is left behind and pushes you to reach a professional standard you can be proud of. Access Training Cardiff is lucky to have someone like Gareth — an instructor who sets the standard for excellence and truly deserves greater recognition within the company.
Very friendly
Very experienced tutors who always have time to answer questions, brilliant training centre with all tools and equipment available, I have done multiple courses at the Cardiff training centre and have only had positive experiences.
These 5 stars are going to the team in Cardiff and Edenbridge Inspection and testing practical training and assessment department. Gareth and James at Cardiff were really good in training and supporting. Gareth was my tutor and James I met in the corridors who always had time to help with my Fluke MFT. I then travelled to Edenbridge for my assessments, and Simon was my assessor. He was great easy to get on with. Smashed out the assessment in less than the time given so was perfect. Thanks Access and hope my NVQ is as easy as this stage.
Attended the Cardiff training centre for my Gas summative assessments. Had John for the week. He was great, knowledgable, patient and both helped me increase my knowledge and professionally conducted my assessments.
During my practical accessment Thomas Jenkins has been helpful and has a great way of explaining things i did not understand or mis-understood. Had loads of helpful insite about the next steps and answered every question i had about the future steps of the course .
