I have been booking hire cars through Zest for many years. I use Zest at least 3 times a year to go to our holiday apartment. The reason I use them is that they are: Reliable Reasonable Offer a great choice I would highly recommend them because apart from the aforementioned they are easy to contact and their partner companies meet their high standards

After reading Which recommendation, decided to use Zest to hire two vehicles consecutively. Found the whole process easy and the fact that insurance was included for all the various excesses that car hire companies try to sell you was reassuring and hassle free. Will use again if the need arises.

As ever easy to book with, knowing exactly what you are going to get, for a great price. This time for the first time ever someone scratched the car overnight resulting in it being swapped by the rental company. I had to pay an amount for the damage but the insurance provided through Zest paid out before I’d even finished the holiday. Simply brilliant service.

I have used zest car hire twice now and they are so professional and easy to deal with which takes all the headache away from car hire even the car hire firm in portugal said they were very professional. I can absolutely,definitely recommend them to anyone & everyone I will be using them again & again in fact they are now my only go to car hire company. Latest date of hire 18-28 June 2025.

Collection of the rental car in Orlando was easy straight to the desk in the airport and quick easy paperwork with no hard sell on add ons, return was easy just dropped the car and left the keys inside , deposit was returned within a day. Great price and the car was good and well maintained Would definitely recommend Zest and will be using them for future car hire.

First class service from both Zest and Rent Auto at Lisbon, Portugal. It was hassel free car rental at both pick up and return. We have used Zest for years and would always recommend them.

Zest are just so easy to deal with. Real people to talk to not robots or some chat conversation where you hang on forever as the operative jumps between numerous calls. Good functioning website, huge choice good pricing. Always the first port of call for me when hiring a car.

We booked again with Zest and all went smoothly. Our car hire with Alamo (Locauto locally) at Bari Airport, Italy went very smoothly.  We had Zest extra cover and there was no hard sell to buy any additional cover. Car had only 3000 km on clock and was fine for getting around Puglia. Early morning return was straightforward with key in drop off box at Locauto arrivals area

Very disappointing and £160 down due to misinformation on the contract! Which has since been edited! After arriving in a foreign country at midnight, after 12hrs of travelling, we went to collect our hire car which was booked through Zest. The contract stated a refundable deposit of €1800 was needed on a credit card! I made sure I had that available purposely. Only to be told , on arrival, it was €2100! I didn’t have that available! Here we were at midnight, 30 minutes away from accommodation and no clue what we were going to do! The lady at the car rental checked the contract and took a photo to send to her boss! I wish I had too! It clearly stated €1800 which I know because I triple checked before booking! Thankfully the car hire company gave us a solution however it would mean paying an extra non refundable £160.00. She told me I could possibly claim it back from the broker when I return home. Upon returning home I completed a feedback form for Zest, where I explained the situation and that I would contact directly to address the issue! Lo and behold I have just checked the contract again and magically it now says €2100, make of it what you will! Underhand I say! Updated Zest have rectified the problem and I appreciate that.

I have been using Zest for a long time and never really appreciated them until now they go beyond help when I needed them,always there 24hrs a day or night so now it's time for me to make them shine.

Very impressed with the service from Zest and all contacts from Zest were efficient, professional and informative. However often the real true measure of service performance is responding when something goes wrong (which can happen anytime) and although we had a slight issue with rented car, Zest and the car hire company responded quickly and efficiently and helped resolve the issue to our complete satisfaction I can see why “Which” highly recommends Zest as would I.

I found Zest a very professional company, great customer service and any amendments can be made simply. Have used them several times and will continue to do so
