Appreciate their help in resolving my issue
Very disappointing and £160 down due to misinformation on the contract! Which has since been edited! After arriving in a foreign country at midnight, after 12hrs of travelling, we went to collect our hire car which was booked through Zest. The contract stated a refundable deposit of €1800 was needed on a credit card! I made sure I had that available purposely. Only to be told , on arrival, it was €2100! I didn’t have that available! Here we were at midnight, 30 minutes away from accommodation and no clue what we were going to do! The lady at the car rental checked the contract and took a photo to send to her boss! I wish I had too! It clearly stated €1800 which I know because I triple checked before booking! Thankfully the car hire company gave us a solution however it would mean paying an extra non refundable £160.00. She told me I could possibly claim it back from the broker when I return home. Upon returning home I completed a feedback form for Zest, where I explained the situation and that I would contact directly to address the issue! Lo and behold I have just checked the contract again and magically it now says €2100, make of it what you will! Underhand I say! Updated Zest have rectified the problem and I appreciate that.
