Great customer service
Great customer service, good price on a Hertz car and a brand new vehicle. Easy collection and drop off in Dublin. Will definitely use Zest again.
Great customer support
The booking process was intuitive and customer support when I had a query over return of the security deposit was prompt and friendly. The local rental company Fontana that Zest use in Cyprus was excellent.

I always use Zest for my car rental bookings as they are so helpful if you do happen to have queries or issues occur. I needed a late change of dates as my husband suffered an injury and needed an operation but this was all dealt swiftly and with a refund for unused dates. I also always use Centauro cars in Alicante airport via Zest as the cars are always really good.

Paying for a car doesn't guarantee you are going to get a car at that price.
Thought I had booked a car at 250 pounds, then received email saying they were waiting for confirmation from the hire car company. Waited several days and status stayed at Pending, before contacting them. They then contacted the actual car hire company to find that car wasn't actualy available. Ended up speaking to a very helpful person at Zest, who was very apologetic but end result was having to pay another 130 pounds for similar car which is not a great experience hence the 1 star review. Have read the response from Zest Car Rental - and my feelings are the same as all the other 1 star reviewers. Zest are simply a broker and take no responsibility at all for customer service as it is always the car hire companies fault. If it works great, if it doens't don't expect any customer service from Zest, just a stock "not our fault, read the small print" response.

A competitive price and great service
A competitive price and great service from the Zest team when I needed to query and change one of the hire conditions with the provider in Spain. A refreshing change to my experiences with previous hire car brokers. I was delighted with the quality of the car I received and the efficiency of the chosen provider. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again

Steer Clear
Easy Car Hire were very poor, took over an hour of queueing to collect the car. They contacted us 10 days after returning the car (having been told it would be 24-48 hours) with a 2000 euro bill for damage that they "found" 10 days after returning. They altered the form (very clearly altered) after my signature. The excess was 1500 euros but they still charged 2000. Zest were very poor at advocating for this. I would never use them again.

My first choice for car hire.
I use Zest as I trust them to use the most reliable suppliers and charge a competitive price. They are βWhichβ recommended and rightly so. I have always had a good experience. The communication, emails and documents are a credit to them. Lastly, during Covid lockdown, Zest was the only company to return my money, after a forced cancellation of a holiday, no quibble no hoops to jump through. That goodwill goes a very long indeed.

Zest did outstanding job at Malaga
Zest made the booking and collection of a vehicle and coordination of three families arriving at Malaga for my son's wedding, very easy and smooth. Someone was there to meet us as we came through arrivals, escort us to our vehicle and get on our way. This was all done smoothly with helpful and friendly staff.

I have been using Zest for a long time now. They are so good that I never even look at another company. Their rentals are almost always excellent, and if they are not they take the issue up your behalf. Thoroughly recommended.

This company is totally unreliable andβ¦
This company is totally unreliable and let us down with our car hire. We requested a manual car several days in advance but when the car was delivered to our hotel it was an automatic. I made it clear at the time of booking I don't drive automatics. They then had the nerve to say they had done me a favour delivering a Yaris that was over 3 years old with dents, scratches and the wing mirror damaged. I refused to take delivery of such a shocking car that was not what I had ordered but was in need of the body shop and also stunk of smoke. Zest rental does not live up to there name. God knows how they are recommended by WHICH is begger belief. DO NOT BE TAKEN IN WITH their reviews as they cannot deliver a service letting down holiday makers and leaving them with no transport. No offer of any compensation for their mistake just passing the buck onto the third party supplier who they used.
