Paying for a car doesn't guarantee you are going to get a car at that price.

Thought I had booked a car at 250 pounds, then received email saying they were waiting for confirmation from the hire car company. Waited several days and status stayed at Pending, before contacting them. They then contacted the actual car hire company to find that car wasn't actualy available. Ended up speaking to a very helpful person at Zest, who was very apologetic but end result was having to pay another 130 pounds for similar car which is not a great experience hence the 1 star review. Have read the response from Zest Car Rental - and my feelings are the same as all the other 1 star reviewers. Zest are simply a broker and take no responsibility at all for customer service as it is always the car hire companies fault. If it works great, if it doens't don't expect any customer service from Zest, just a stock "not our fault, read the small print" response.
