Excellent introduction to water no matter how young your baby
The swim instructors are fantastic, we had 2 in our time with water babies. From our first lesson when my little one was 6 weeks old to my last session when she was 8 months old. They were kind, helpful & most of all kept us safe in the water whilst having fun and bonding with our babies. It definitely helped my confidence & my little one has always loved the water & isn't scared at all. The only reason for 1 star short of 5 was the venue, because it is a private school it wasn't catered for the usual public swimming. So the changing facilities weren't set up with cubicles, showers, changing tables for babies etc. However, it was very local for us, so we were happy to compromise on this. We could have had lessons further afield with a more formal changing facility but this wasn't practical for us to travel.

Toria the waterbabies instructor at jethen house is absolutely amazing!! She goes above and beyond to make parents and children feel comfortable, supported and heard. Nothing is too much trouble and any concerns you have regarding swimming with your little one is always taken into consideration and the support you didnt even know you needed is alway's given to make you feel confident and ready to swim with you baby. You can really tell the passion she has for waterbabies not only as an instructor but also as a parent who has been through it twice. Im so so glad I chose waterbabies and im so so glad we were put into Torias class.
Progressive and fun
Lessons are progressive and so much fun for me and my daughter. We have been attending since she was 12 weeks old and have no intentions to stop. The confidence gained in just 14 weeks is incredible. Lessons do tend to run late meaning we start later than expected, and this obviously will happen when dealing with children! but I have noticed that our session is occasionally cut five minutes short which is disappointing considering each session is over £20 for half hour.

I love taking my little girl swimming
I love taking my little girl swimming, we have so much fun, she is so confident in the water and it is a great bonding experience for us both. Have been attending since she was around 3 months old and will continue until she is too old for water babies. Michelle at Clifton Hill school is so great!

I love attending the lessons with my boy. The teacher is always happy and making all the hard work look so effortless. I always look forward for the next lesson and what new tricks we'll learn. My son loves it as well, but he is a true water baby.

They just want your money
Changed times. Cancelled lessons at that venue. Even though communicated I csnt afford the lessons and didn’t like the pool as cold etc etc still taking 100s of £’s without consent. Gave my bank details on phone so actually didn’t sign up to the T&C’s of 4 week cancellation. Horrendous companies just want your money. Beware

The highlight of our week!
We have experienced several different teachers through my childrens waterbabies journey and they have all been excellent, extremely friendly and clearly knowledgable in their field. There was only one teacher I felt whose pace was too fast and furious for me to enjoy those lessons, although my child didn't seem to notice. My children are becoming excellent swimmers with such confidence in the water and this is testament to the waterbabies lessons which are the highlight of our week. Also customer service has always been superb, friendly and keen to help. I would recommend waterbabies although the cost of these lessons is rather expensive I do feel they are worth it.

The lessons themselves are good and I have really seen progress. My son particularly enjoyed the Halloween themed lesson this week. However, the site of Wray common is becoming more and more unsuitable. The leaks and temperature just makes being out of the pool really unpleasant and I’m questioning how the lessons can still be so expensive.

We love our weekly sessions
We love our weekly sessions! Our twins have been coming since they were 6months and have learnt so much!! Mabel and Isaac are now 3years 5months and we couldn’t imagine not coming to our favourite class each week! They love being in the water and can both now swim with their noodle without Mummy or Daddy holding them. Brilliant teaching team brilliant memories for us to cherish building a lifelong love and respect for swimming.
