Ordered Oak veneer doors and oak faced liners. Doors arrived promptly in good condition. Thats the end of the good news. The liners arrived a couple of days later and I was immediately disappointed with them. They have a paper thin vinyl type coating that's never seen an oak tree. I emailed to ask if I could return them and what the cost of return would be. 2 days later I hadn't got a response, so rang them. I at that point, offered to place another order for garden gates to allow for a free collection of the liners. A few days later they emailed saying I was wrong about the veneer and they want £100 to return them ! All my dealings with them since my initial complaint have been antagonistic, slow and downright disrespectful. Don't touch them with a bargepole.

Vivid made me Livid,

I purchased 9 doors from Vivid spending a significant amount of money. When delivered one of the glazed oak doors was completely destroyed and the back of of the courier van was carnage. According to the Vivid courier "the doors had not been stropped in correctly". Additionally the receipt signature of my Wife was forged by the Courier. The severely damaged door was taken away by the courier and the catastrophically damaged door replaced in good order. Approximately 5-days after delivery the remaining 8 doors were inspected by my Joiner before fitting began and 4 of the remaining doors were damaged(scratches & gouges) to varying degrees. This was reported to Vivid (verbally & e-mail). After a number of exchanges Vivid management refused to replace the damaged doors, stating that more than 48-hours had elapsed since delivery. If they can be bothered to reply to this, I am sure they will hide behind this clause but I consider it a total disregard of Consumer Rights and value of Customer Service. This awful experience has cost me hundreds of extra pounds to rectify and if I could score less than 1 star I would. In future, I will be using a better known supplier who respects Consumer Rights, has a proper replacement of damaged goods policy and uses a reliable courier and packages their goods properly. I also wish I reviewed Trust Pilot prior to purchase.

Online image is different to actual door

The door received is the door ordered outside dimensions are correct, however the proportions of wooden frame to glass are very different to the image shown on website. The frame is much slimmer in the online images. Note the frame width is not stated in the product details, can climadoor please include this? For future customers reference, frame is 150mm wide lengthways, and glass is 450mm, so glass is much narrower in overall proportion to frame. Overall disappointed with the door.

Extremely Poor Customer Service – Order Delayed Beyond Stated Lead Time

I placed an order on the 21st of May and was advised a lead time of 4 to 6 weeks. We are now in week 7 and I still have no confirmed delivery date. Despite several attempts to speak with someone from management about my concerns, no one has been available or willing to address the issue directly. Today, I was sent a link from their own website confirming a 4 to 6 week lead time. However, in a follow-up email, they attempted to reframe this as a manufacturing lead time, which is misleading. For clarity: lead time refers to the period between placing an order and receiving the goods — not just production. Their website clearly references only “lead time” with no mention of “manufacturing lead time,” and yet no one from the company has taken accountability for the conflicting and inaccurate information being provided. The only positive outcome is that I’ve discovered who their supplier is — LPD Doors — and I will be placing future orders directly with them. Sadly, the customer service I’ve experienced has been consistently poor and incredibly disappointing. Updated following the reply to my review I'm genuinely disappointed by the lack of respect this company has shown—not only to me as a customer, but also to their supplier. At no point has the Customer Services Manager acknowledged that the doors are delayed. In fact, I was informed via email that the doors would not be considered late until 11.07.25. However, in their public reply to my review, they contradict that by acknowledging the delay and shifting blame to LPD Doors. I contacted LPD directly and found them to be polite, helpful, and transparent. The company also claimed that it’s not possible to buy doors directly from LPD, which is seems untrue—I’ve confirmed this myself by visiting their website. While I don’t believe the customer is always right, in this case it’s clear: I was told one thing in private, and another was stated publicly. That inconsistency, and the attempt to deflect blame, is unacceptable.

Delivered on time didn't need to lose any time from work delivered by two man crew who were both polite and very careful doors have now been hung and looking excellent really happy with the price and quality of the doors would definitely use again in the future and recommend to family and friends

BEWARE...ROGUE TRADER

BEWARE.... DON'T BE TEMPTED TO USE THIS COMPANY !! I have had to phone this Company at least 5 times to chase for a delivery date having already been given three dates which were cancelled, one operator said the van broke down the next day I phoned to be told that the doors had gone to the wrong depot (obviously lies) and they couldn't give me a revised delivery date until the product had been scanned. 5 days later, I'm still waiting. It feels like this is a call centre and the operators haven't got a clue and cannot help in any way at all. I asked to speak to a manager or the Director and was told it was not possible. I checked this Company to see who the Director was and found at Companies House they are registered as a Dormant Company which apparently isn't trading therefore no accounts submitted since 2018. My invoice from Vivid Doors clearly shows the Company registration number and vat number, yet the accounts under that registration says they are a Dormant Company HMRC and Customs & Excise will be interested to learn that they have been trading and charging vat seemingly illegally. I have asked for my money back and anxiously hoping to get it returned. This Company looks like a ROGUE TRADER!!!! and should be investigated by GOV.UK Further investigation has shown that VIVID DOORS is NOT VAT REGISTERED. & confirmed as a dormant company. BUT VIVID DOORS ARE USING THE VAT NUMBER ON THEIR INVOICES WHICH IS FOR A DIFFERENT COMPANY CALLED VIBRANT DOORS. This is deliberately misleading, total incompetence or tax avoidance???. Certainly isn’t legal.

Completely dissatisfied !!

Really disappointed , bought a fire door set with handles. However delivered without the handles . delivery driver unpacked it from a bundle of 3 in the back of a van and asked my 75 year old mother who was in to receive the delivery to help lift it in the property. I chased them multiple times about the missing and they promised to get back to me after speaking to the delivery company. I chased this days later and no further forward , chased again a week later and the same answer . Now I get a reminder for a trust pilot review. Her you go SHOCKING !

Terrible Service - Delivery Postponed Several Times

I ordered a fire door and a lining, delivery was quoted as 3-7 days which is more than I thought it would be and quite expensive although it is a large item. After paying I got a delivery date 6 days ahead. On the delivery day I got a few status notifications but nothing arrived and then a notification that the delivery had been cancelled and I would get a new date but I didn't hear anything. I called up Vivid and asked what the situation was and was asked to book another delivery which I did. This delivery was again postponed by one day so eventually I got my order after 16 days and a lot of hassle. I am a trade customer and when I have to cancel appointments it reflects badly on me, I had to postpone this job twice and had to wait a ridiculously long time so I really can't recommend Vivid Doors. I did ask if they would refund my delivery charge and they said they would look into it but of course I heard nothing. It's a shame as with better customer service I would be writing a positive review, the door and lining were actually good.
